Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer
Mortals touched by the capricious magic of the Feywild often find themselves gifted with unpredictable, emotion-driven power.

Whether your heritage includes a hint of faerie blood, you earned the favor of an archfey, or you spent time lost among the Courts themselves, your magic reflects the whimsy, beauty, and volatility of the fey.

Level 3: Fey Magic

3rd-level Fey Sorcery feature

You learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Fey Magic Spells table. Each of these spells counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of sorcerer spells you know.

Sorcerer Level Spells
1st Color Spray, Faerie Fire
3rd Calm Emotions, Misty Step
5th Blink, Hypnotic Pattern
7th Compulsion, Dominate Beast
9th Dominate Person, Seeming

Level 3: Faeblood

3rd-level Fey Sorcery feature

Your connection to fey magic grants you a natural aptitude for charms and glamours.

You learn one cantrip of your choice from the bard spell list. It counts as a sorcerer cantrip for you and doesn’t count against the number of cantrips you know.

Additionally, whenever you learn a sorcerer spell, you may choose that spell from either the sorcerer or bard spell lists.

Level 3: Heartsight

3rd-level Fey Sorcery feature

Your fey intuition sharpens your ability to read emotions.

You gain proficiency in the Insight skill, and you add your Charisma modifier (minimum +1) to all Wisdom (Insight) checks you make.

As an action, you can touch a creature and attempt to perceive its emotional state. Make a Wisdom (Insight) check against a DC equal to the creature’s CR. On a success, you learn the creature’s alignment and its predominant surface emotion. The creature is unaware of this attempt.

Level 6: Emotional Focus

6th-level Fey Sorcery feature

At the end of each long rest, choose one emotion from the table below. Until the end of your next long rest, you gain resistance to that emotion’s associated damage type and immunity to that emotion’s associated condition.

Emotion Damage Type Condition Immune
Anger Fire Stunned
Disgust Acid Incapacitated
Envy Poison Poisoned
Joy Lightning Restrained
Sorrow Cold Frightened
Serenity Psychic Charmed
Awe Thunder Paralyzed

Level 14: Fleeting Step

You can slip partially into the Feywild to avoid danger. When you are forced to make a saving throw, you can use your reaction to teleport up to 60 feet to an unoccupied space you can see, automatically succeeding on the saving throw.

You can use this feature once per short or long rest at no cost.

You regain its expended uses when you finish a Short or Long Rest. Alternatively, you may spend 3 sorcery points (up to a max of 9) to re-use this feature again, with every sorcery point spent after three increasing this feature's teleport range by 10 feet per additional sorcery point spent.

Level 18: Intoxicating Presence

18th-level Fey Sorcery feature

Your presence radiates the irresistible allure of the Fey Courts. Whenever you cast an Enchantment spell that targets a creature within 30 feet of you, that creature has disadvantage on the first saving throw it makes against that spell.

This glamour affects any creature that can see or hear you.
