Base Class: Rogue
You are a rogue who turns the very lifeblood of your enemies into a weapon. Through mastery of hemocraft, your strikes leave wounds that fester and bleed, feeding your own vitality while weakening those who stand against you. Every attack becomes a study in precision and cruelty, and even the smallest cut can have deadly consequences. In your hands, blood is not just a tool—it is power, a weapon, and a statement: no foe escapes unscathed.
Sanguine Veil
Beginning when you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you draw vitality from the life around you. Your hit point maximum increases by 3, and it increases by 1 every time you gain a level in this class. In addition, you learn the hemocraft cantrip, and can cast it using the bonus action granted by your Cunning Action feature. Constitution is your spellcasting ability for this cantrip.
Hemorrhaging Strike
Also at 3rd level, your strikes leave wounds that refuse to heal. Once per turn, when you deal Sneak Attack damage to a creature, you can choose to deal necrotic damage instead of the normal damage. When you do so, the target suffers a grievous wound, causing it to bleed for 1 minute. A bleeding creature takes 1d4 necrotic damage at the beginning of each of its turns. An affected creature stops bleeding if it or another creature within 5 feet takes an action to staunch its wounds, or if a spell like lesser restoration is cast on it.
At 9th level, the damage a bleeding creature takes at the beginning of its turns increases to 2d4.
Wound Siphon
At 9th level, you can use hemocraft to feed off of those you wound. When a creature takes damage as a result of bleeding, you can use your reaction to temporarily empower the rate at which it bleeds. That instance of necrotic damage increases to 4d4, and you can choose to either gain healing or temporary hit points equal to the necrotic damage dealt.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.
Crimson Cruelty
At 13th level, you revel in blood, as bleeding foes become easier to strike. You have advantage on attack rolls against creatures that are bleeding. In addition, creatures that are bleeding cannot regain hit points and have disadvantage on saving throws against your hemocraft cantrip.
Viscera Burst
At 17th level, you unleash the full potential of your hemocraft. As an action, you can choose any number of bleeding creatures you can see within 60 feet of you and roll your Sneak Attack dice. Each creature you chose takes necrotic damage equal to the result of the roll and stops bleeding.
You can use this feature once per short or long rest.
