Base Class: Warlock
Your pact is forged with a draconic entity of immense wealth and power, who grants you access to both in return for service. You might serve Tiamat’s endless hunger, bow to a greatwyrm’s pride, or bargain with a dracolich’s cursed treasury. Some warlocks even bind themselves to a conclave of dragons, cobbling their power together from different troves. The terms of your agreement grant you fragments of their hoarded wealth and primordial magic, but every gift comes with a ledger, and dragons always collect what they're owed.
Level 3: Dragon Spells
The magic of your patron ensures you always have certain spells ready; when you reach a Warlock level specified in the Dragon Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.
| Warlock Level | Spells |
|---|---|
| 3 | Alarm, Arcane Lock, Dragon's Breath, Identify |
| 5 | Fear, Glyph of Warding |
| 7 | Leomund's Secret Chest, Mordenkainen's Private Sanctum |
| 9 | Creation, Summon Dragon |
Level 3: Hoard Trinkets
Your patron gifts you a collection of hoard trinkets: tiny, indestructible curios such as dragon teeth, cursed coins, or pieces of jewellery. You have a number of these trinkets equal to 2 + your Charisma modifier (minimum of 3), and you regain all expended trinkets when you finish a long rest.
As a Magic action, you can teleport all unexpended trinkets to your hand. You can expend trinkets in the following ways.
Empower. Once per turn, when you hit a creature with an attack roll or it fails a saving throw against one of your warlock spells, you can expend a trinket (no action required) to deal extra damage equal to half your warlock level to that creature (round up).
Majestify. Once per turn, when you hit a creature with an attack roll or it fails a saving throw against one of your warlock spells, you can expend a trinket (no action required) to cause it to have the charmed or frightened condition (your choice) until the start of your next turn.
Transmute. As a Magic action, you can expend one or more trinkets to conjure a mundane object. The object's total gold piece value cannot exceed 50 × your warlock level × the number of trinkets spent. The object lasts until your next long rest, when it crumbles to dust.
Level 6: Wyrm's Breath
As a Magic action, you can exhale magical energy in either a 15-foot Cone or a 30-foot Line that is 5 feet wide (choose the shape each time). Each creature in that area must make a Dexterity saving throw against your Spell Save DC. On a failed save, a creature takes acid, cold, fire, lightning, or poison damage (your choice when you gain this feature) equal to 2d10 + half your warlock level. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a Short or Long Rest. You can also restore your use of it by expending one of your Hoard Trinkets (no action required).
Level 10: Hoard's Relic
As a Magic action, you can conjure a magical item of Rare or lower rarity from your patron’s hoard. The item appears in your hands or at your feet and remains for 8 hours, vanishing afterwards.
While the item persists:
- You are considered attuned to it if it requires attunement, even if you exceed your normal attunement limit.
- You can ignore any class, level, species, or alignment requirements for its use.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a Long Rest.
Level 14: Gilded Dominion
As a Magic action, you conjure glittering, illusory treasure in a 30-foot Cube originating from you. The treasure persists for 1 minute or until you dismiss it (no action required). The cube has the following effects.
Boon of the Hoard. While within the cube, you and your allies gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls.
Covetous Snare. Enemies that start their turn within the cube have the Charmed condition. While charmed, that creature cannot willingly leave the cube. As an action, a charmed creature can make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC, ending the effect on itself on a success.
Endless Trinkets. While within the cube, you can activate the Empower and Majestify effects of your Hoard Trinkets feature without expending a trinket.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a Long Rest.
