Artificer
Base Class: Artificer

This artificier instead of focusing on building a golem to aid them on their adventure, or investing in their own personal defences, they have forged an arcane mount to improve their own mobility, and help get themselves and their teammates to wherever they need to get to, regardless of where that may be.

Level 3: Arcane Mount

You gain an arcane mount that you can ride. This mount requires no proficiency to use, but any feats or special abilities that apply to mounts also work for this one. The mount shares the user's DEX score, has STR14, and is immune to psychic and poison damage. It is also immune to the poisoned, charmed, frightened, unconscious, and paralyzed condition. The mount cannot be polymorphed. Only you and a number of those you designate as users equal to your INT mod can operate this mount. Any utility or teleportation spell cast on the driver of the mount also affects the mount, such as invisibility or plane shift. You or your passangers cannot be shoved or pulled off the mount by force so long as you are buckled in. It takes a bonus action to buckle/unbuckle. You can cast mending to heal the mount 2D6. You can operate this mount at full power for a total of up to 6 hours per day. Once this time is used up, the mount can only traverse by land, it loses all of its bonuses except for storage, and it's movement speed is reduced to 25ft per round. You can expend spell slots to add additional time a number of hours equal to the level of spell slots expended. The mount fully recharges after not being driven for 8 hours. As a bonus action, as long as you or a designated user can be seen or heard by the mount, it can be remotely commanded to come to the user. It will use its movement dashing every turn until it is 5ft away from them.

At the end of a long rest, you can create an arcane mount within 5 feet of you. If one already exists somewhere else, it crumbles into scrap. You can create an arcane mount after a short rest if you expend a 1st level spell slot or break down an infusion to do so. After you long or short rest, you can determine the model of the vehicle. Both models contain a storage compartment that mimics the properties of a bag of holding. This storage is part of the mount and cannot be removed. If the mount is destroyed, the extradimensional space within the container is maintained, and can be accessed from a new mount. When you close the storage container, you can chose to place an Arcane Lock on it as an action. Placing an item that contains an extradimensional space inside the storage will fling the mount and any riders into the astral plane, and any stored items will be scattered throuought the astral plane.

Both models also have a rigid mount in which a ranged weapon or spellcasting focus may be affixed. It takes an action to affix or remove a weapon from the weapon mount. You can use your normal action or magic action to press a button on the mount to fire the weapon or cast a spell. You ignore any strength requirements to fire heavy weapons mounted to the vehicle and use DEX for the attack.

When you create an arcane mount, you can chose between two models, and you can change the model after a short or long rest.

Passanger Model

This mount has HP=6xArtificier lvl, AC12, speed 45ft. Only two people can ride this mount at a time. While on this mount, you both gain the benefits of half cover, and once per turn while driving, you can make a charge attack as part of your movement against one creature that is large or smaller. On hit, you deal 1D6 bludgeoning damage, and knock the target 10ft away to the side landing prone. You deal max damage to targets who were prone when struck, but they aren't moved. This vehicle is loud, and imposes disadvantage on stealth checks while moving.

Sport Model

This mount has HP=4xArtificier lvl, AC16, speed 60ft. Only one person at a time can ride this mount. While on this mount, enemies make opportunity attacks at disadvantage, and you have advantage on dexterity saving throws and acrobatics checks. This mount can take many forms, ie. motorcycle, robotic animal, skate board, scooter, wheelchair, etc.

Level 5: Marine Adaptation

Your mount can now operate for a total of 8 hours per day.

As a bonus action, you can transform your mount from ground traversal to water traversal. Your mount retains its same speed as before. This transformation can be done seamlessly when going from one terrain type to the other. If your mount runs out of energy on or in the water, it floats harmlessly on the surface and requires paddling to move.

Your vehicle modes have additional bonuses:

SPORT: While on this mount, you have evasion.

PASSANGER: This mount can now hold up to 4 occupants including the driver. The mounts AC is 14. While all of the vehicles windows are shut, the interior cabin is hermeticaly sealed, all occupants have full cover, and have resistance to poison damage and the poisoned condition. Additionally, while the mount is in water traversal mode and the cabin is sealed, the vehicle can dive as a bonus action and travel underwater up to a depth of 400ft.

Level 9: Hover Vehicle

Instead of switching between ground and water travel modes, your mount now permanently hovers 2ft off the the surface. All models of vehicle now completely ignore difficult and hazardous terrain. The passenger mode mount can still dive underwater as a bonus action. The mount can now run for 10 hours per day.

All vehicle modes now have new features:

SPORT: Its speed is now 90ft. This mount can now have two occupants who both benefit from the mount. It can maintain its levitation and move across a surface regardless of angle, even while upside down and not fall. Its AC is 18.

It can now dive to a depth of 900ft. It now has a secondary weapon mount that a separate passanger can operate and aim independently of the vehicle. It must be a light variant of ranged weapon if it isn't an arcane focus.

Excavator: This mount now has a burrow speed equal to half its normal movement up to a depth of 500ft. When it digs through the earth in this manner, it leaves behind a 5ft diameter hole trail. Scooped creatures cannot be dragged underground. It now has a mechanical gripper attached to its back. The user can make take the grapple attack action to attempt to grapple and restrain a creature up to huge size using the mounts strength. The gripper has a reach of 20ft.

Level 15: Flying Mount

Your mount now has a fly speed equal to its movement. Your mount can now run for a total of 12 hours per day. The vehicle's storage compartment now holds twice as much volume/weight. You can instantly summon your vehicle next to you once per long rest regardless of where it was previously so long as it can teleport. Any occupants teleport with it. Your vehicle models gain new features:

SPORT: Its movement speed is now 120ft. Its AC is 20. Enemies cannot make opportunity attacks against you while riding this mount. If you have not expended your full movement during your turn and you become targeted by an AoE effect or attack before your next turn, you can move up to 20ft as a reaction to escape it's range. You can do this a number of times per day equal to half of your proficiency bonus rounded down.

PASSANGER: Its movement speed is now 90ft. Its AC is 18. The interior cab of this vehicle has been dimensionally manipulated to be the size of a small room capable of holding up to 12 occupants within. This vehicle is quieter and no longer imposes disadvantage on stealth checks. The charge attack now deals D10 damage and can affect 5 targets. It can now dive up to a mile below the depths.

EXCAVATOR: Its movement speed is now 50ft. Its AC is 18, and it's STR is 24. The gripper now has a chisel attatchement and the user can cast Stone Shape at will. The excavator can now knock down large trees and push large boulders. It can now scoop 1 huge creature by itself with the scoop ability. Walls not made of metal up to 5ft of thickness can be instantly destroyed with an action in a 10x10 space. It can now burrow up to 1000ft deep.

Level 5: Excavator Mode

You can now chose a third option for your mount type.

Excavator Mode

EXCAVATOR: HP=5xArtificier lvl, AC16, Speed 30ft, STR22. This mount can hold one occupant and ignores difficult terrain. It has a metal scoop at the end of the vehicle, allowing you to cast Mold Earth at will. As part of your movement, you can scoop a number of creatures large or smaller equal to half your proficiency bonus rounded up and move them with you. They must make a DC8+Sleight of hand DEX saving throw to avoid being scooped. The shovel can knock over a medium sized tree or move a boulder as a utility action. The scoop has a reach of 10ft.

Level 3: Tool Proficiency

You gain proficiency with Tinkerers tools. If you already have proficiency with this tool, you may chose a different artisan tool and gain proficiency with it.
