Base Class: Warlock
Bring Order to Chaos
Your pacts draws power from the orderly plane of the Clockwork Nirvana of Mechanus or one like it. You have forged a contract with a being of robotic order such as a Secundi, Tertian, rogue AI or machine, or perhaps it's even the Primus himself. Whoever it is, you have been imbued with mechanical power and the ability to create order from chaos.
Level 3: Interrupt Chaos
Your connection to the plan of order enables you to bring balance to chaos.
Whenever you or a creature you can see within 60 feet of yourself rolls a D20 for a D20 Test, you can take a reaction to treat a roll of greater or less than 10 as a 10.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once), and you regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.
Level 3: Mechanus Spells
The magic of your patron ensures you always have certain spells ready; when you reach a Warlock level specified in the Mechanus Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared. You may replace Glyph of Warding with Conjure Constructs and/or Otiluke's Resilient Sphere with Summon Constructs if your DM is allowing their sourcebooks.
| Warlock Level | Spells |
|---|---|
| 3 | Alarm, Identify, Heat Metal, Locate Object |
| 5 | Glyph of Warding, Lightning Bolt |
| 7 | Fabricate, Otiluke's Resilient Sphere |
| 9 | Animate Objects, Creation |
Mechanical Disposition
Your patron has reshaped your eldritch power in ways befiting its mechanical nature.
You gain the Mending cantrip without it counting against the number of cantrips you know. You may cast the Mending cantrip on Construct creatures. When you do so, that creature may expend one of its hit dice to gain that many hit points plus your charisma modifier. If the creature doesn't have hit dice, it only regains your charisma modifier.
Whenever you summon a creature (such as with Find Familiar, Create Undead, or any Summon spell) you can choose for the summoned creatures to be considered constructs instead of their normal monster type.
Level 6: Cybernetic Ascension
Your patron has found your mortal coil lacking and so has augmented it. In time, you will be more machine than man.
Cybernetics. You are considered a construct in addition to being a humanoid. You can be affected by spells and abilities that affect either. You don’t gain Exhaustion levels from dehydration, malnutrition, or suffocation.
Logic Circuitry. You have advantage on saves against being charmed. You have resistance against psychic damage.
Axiomatic Mind. Whenever you make an ability check using one of the following skills, you may add your Charisma modifier to the roll: Arcana, History, Investigation, Nature, or Religion. You may do this a number of times per long rest equal to your Charisma modifier.
Level 10: Prediction Model
Your patron has given you the ability to analyze and interpret behavioral cues and therefore predict others' actions.
You may add Insight to the skills that can be affected by the Axiomatic Mind ability of your Cybernetic Ascension feature.
Once per short rest, whenever an attack roll is made against you or a creature that can hear you and would hit, you may may expend your use of this feature to cause the attack to be rerolled. If the attack then misses, you regain your use of this feature.
Level 14: Mechanical Precision
Your patron's hatred for chaos and knack for precision has made it so whenever you roll for damage on a cantrip you cast or weapon attack you make, you may treat any die as if it rolled its middleist result (round down). For instance, a d4 roll of 1, 3, or 4, you may treat as a 2, a d6 as a 3, a d8 as a 4, and so forth.
