Base Class: Fighter
Chieftains are warriors who rely on incredible skills and their own durability to overcome their enemies. Some chieftains combine this skill with tactical cunning. Others just hit things until those things stop hitting back.
Kick Ass and Chew Bubblegum
You have ½ your fighter level (round up) maximum Kickass Points. You regain all of them on a long rest. You use 1 kickass point to use a kickass power. The maximum stops increasing at 15th level. It does not take an action or a bonus action to use one of these powers unless it says so. You can only use one kickass ability on each turn
All Out of Bubblegum. Once per encounter on your first turn after your hit points reach below half then you can take a natural 20 if you miss on an attack roll.
Now You See Me. During your next square of movement you don't provoke attacks of opportunity
In Your Face. Take a +2 bonus to a melee attack
Eager Eye. If you would have disadvantage on a ranged attack you can instead roll normally
You’re Mine! The DM picks one enemy within 20 feet of you, you can attack them and deal damage to them as though they only have 1 hit point this turn. There must be at least 3 enemies within 20 feet of you to activate this ability.
I’m Always Angry. Take advantage on an initiative roll
The Last Laugh. If you are reduced to 0 hit points by a melee attack, deal your currently held weapon’s (if any) damage as a reaction to the enemy, even if this reduces the enemy to 0 hit points, you are still also put to 0 hit points.
Burn Them All. When you make any attack one enemy (your decision) within 5 feet of the target must make a dexterity saving throw (DC 10 + your proficiency modifier) or they also take half of the damage (for instance you fire a crossbow bolt and it hits bone and ricochets into someone else).
Seconder Wind. When you use your second wind ability you roll 1d12 + your fighter level instead of 1d10 + your fighter level.
Lightning reflexes. Once per round you can use a kickass point to take another reaction, however this cannot be used to make an attack of opportunity on an enemy if you have already done so this round.
Born Leader
Starting at 7th level you gain 1 extra Kickass Point per rest and the ability to issue commands to one of your allies during combat as a reaction. Your order must include an action they should take. While taking the action they can use one of your kickass powers: (uses your Kickass Point)
Brute Force
At 10th level you can add strength to your initiative rolls instead of dexterity. You also gain proficiency in all strength ability checks (including Athletics and Initiative)
Guns Blazing
Starting at 15th level in the first round of combat if you take your turn before any of the enemies you regain 5 kickass points
"Sneak" attack
Beginning at 18th level, you know how to strike unsubtly and exploit a foe's patheticalness. Once per turn, you can deal an extra 1d12 damage to one creature you hit with an attack if you have advantage on the attack roll, the damage can be of any type the weapon can do. You can use this ability like another kickass power when issuing a command.
