Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

The Oath of Hedonism calls for a paladin to seek out pleasure to the utmost degree. To lavish themselves in luxury. To abolish sorrow through the pursuit of self-indulgence and self-gratification. Though many find such principles to be unwise–discarding them as depraved follies of hedonism, knights of this order see true the beauty in living to the fullest in the now. Hedonism at its purest is simply the pursuit of happiness, after all.

TENETS OF HEDONISM

Pleasure. Happiness through pleasure is the ultimate good. So seek to maximize joy & minimize sorrow.
Indulgence. Restraint is wise, but excess is splendorous.
Bliss. Pain only exists if acknowledged.

Level 3: Blessing of Hedonism

You can bestow unto yourself or others a passionate pursuit of pleasure.

As a Bonus Action, you can touch a humanoid creature of choice within reach and cause it to enter a hedonistic state, which lasts for up to 10 minutes, until you have the Incapacitated condition, until you end the state as a Bonus Action, or until you use this feature again. While in this hedonistic state, the target has Advantage on any check or saving throw it makes while engaging in an act of pleasure (Examples: eating, drinking, dancing, gambling, carnal intimacy, etc…). You can alternatively use this feature as part of using your Lay on Hands feature. But when doing so, your target must also be your Lay on Hands target.

Additionally, any target healed by you through the effect of a spell or feature experiences a pleasurable sensation of its choice.

Level 3: Oath of Hedonism Spells

The magic of your oath ensures you always have certain spells ready.

When you reach a Paladin level specified in the Oath of Hedonism Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.

Level 3: Veil of Pleasure

You can divinely amplify within yourself or others the thrills of heightened pleasure.

When you use your “Blessing of Hedonism” feature to cause the target to enter a hedonistic state, you can expend either a use of Channel Divinity or a spell slot 1st level or higher, as part of the same action, to amplify the state entered. While in the amplified state, your target gains the following benefits:

Insatiable Arousal. Any pleasurable sensation the target experiences is multiplied in intensity by a number equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of 2).

Stimulating Ecstasy. When the target enters the amplified state and again at the start of each of your turns, it gains an amount of temporary Hit Points equal to 1d8 + your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1), which lasts until the start of your next turn.

Unbridled Virility. When the target enters the amplified state and again at the start of each of your turns, the target gains a +2 bonus to its AC or attack rolls (your choice), which lasts until the start of your next turn.

Level 7: Aura of Elation

Your aura hums with soothing euphoria.

Whenever a creature of choice is healed through the effect of a spell or feature while within your Aura of Protection, it is further healed for an amount equal to your Charisma modifier.

Additionally, any creature of choice within your Aura of Protection experiences a feint yet constant hum of a pleasurable sensation of its choice.

Level 15: Excessive Indulgence

You can expend valuable resources for immediate and gratifying results.

Once per turn, immediately after you cast the Divine Smite spell, you can expend 5 or more Hit Points from your Lay on Hands pool, up to your Paladin level. Upon doing so, one of the following effects of your choice occurs:

  • Your target is dealt an additional amount of Radiant damage equal to 1d8 + half the Hit Point amount expended (rounded down). For every 5 Radiant damage dealt in this way, the target can be forcibly pushed 5 ft. away.
  • An amount of healing equal to 1d8 + half the Hit Point amount expended (rounded down) is distributed among one or more creatures of your choice that are within your Aura of Protection.

Level 20: Voracious Voluptuary

You can imbue yourself with an exhilarating yet dangerously insatiable desire to both indulge in and deliver pleasure.

As either a Bonus Action or as part of using your "Blessing of Hedonism" feature, you gain the benefits below for 10 minutes or until you end them (no action required). Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a Long Rest. You can also restore your use of it by expending a level 5 spell slot (no action required):

Overwhelming Pleasure. When you gain this benefit and again at the start of each of your turns, choose a humanoid creature other than yourself that is within your Aura of Protection. The chosen target gains the benefits of your "Veil of Pleasure" feature (doing so as though it is your "Blessing of Hedonism" target) and has those benefits until you have the Incapacitated condition or until the start of your next turn.

Extravagant Indulgence. When you gain this benefit and again at the start of each of your turns, the maximum amount of Hit Points you can expend from your Lay on Hands pool for your "Excessive Indulgence" feature increases by 10. The maximum reverts once this benefit ends.
