Base Class: Sorcerer

Now at third level you have begun to mast some beasts. You're able to have a companion whether it is used to fight or for things like fur or scales to make potions and other things. 

Level 3: Beast Companion

You have mastered a specific beast. You can use it for combat or for resources. A resource companion will give you proficiency with ONE of the tools/supplies or kits (but only if you choose for it to help with resources). They also make it so that the cost and time for making these things halved. For a battle companion you can have a beast, similar to a ranger can. You can have a beast of the sea, land, OR sky. 

Level 6: Beast Rescuer

You gain the ability where you try and charm a beast. Once charmed you have an hour with the beast following simple directions. Once the hour is over or they are returned to the wild your influence ends. This is a cantrip but can be used at a spell casting level to have more than one beast. The charm save is 8+Charisma+proficiency. 

Beast Companion Mastery

You have now trained you beast and have mastered their abilities. With this mastery you can have it both for combat and to help with resources (this also gives proficiency with one of the tools/supplies or kits, but only if you choose for it to help with resources) or you can make it work with two kits at once/only a fourth of the original time and resources to upgrade the resource companion, or have it's damage add and additional +2 to it and an additional +4 to the attack roll.

Rescuer Mastery

You can now charm up to three beasts at once still at cantrip level. Once charmed you have an hour with the beast following more complex directions and you can use them in combat. Once the hour is over or they are returned to the wild your influence ends. The charm save is still 8+Charisma+proficiency.
