Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

a fighter subclass that uses dunamancy, a type of magic that deals with probability, to summon duplicates of the Ancient Dragon God to fight in battle

Reincarnant Vidyadhara Manifestation

As a bonus action, you manifest your Reincarnant Echo in an unoccupied space you can see within 15 feet of you.

The echo appears as a translucent, draconic humanoid or serpentine dragon spirit resembling your ancestral dragon god, rendered in pale grey and mist-like energy.

The echo has the following traits:

  • Medium size
  • Spectral and draconic in appearance
  • Armor Class: 14 + your proficiency bonus
  • Hit Points: 10
  • Condition Immunities: All conditions
  • Uses your saving throw bonuses
  • Occupies its space and can be attacked
  • Lasts until destroyed, dismissed (no action), or you summon another echo

You can only have one Reincarnant Echo manifested at a time.

Echo Assault

When you take the Attack action, you can make one of your attacks originate from the echo’s space instead of your own.

This attack uses your weapon, reach, and attack modifiers as normal, as if you were in the echo’s space.

Echo Step

When you are hit by an attack, you can use your reaction to instantly swap places with your Reincarnant Echo.

The triggering attack instead targets the echo.

You can use Echo Step a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.

Draconic Bloodletting Incarnation

Once per turn, when you hit a creature with a weapon attack made from your space or your Reincarnant Echo / Aura Dragon’s space, you may choose to suffer necrotic damage equal to your proficiency bonus. If you do, the attack deals additional damage equal to:

1d6 + your Constitution modifier (minimum of 1).

When you gain this feature, choose whether this additional damage is force or necrotic. Once chosen, it cannot be changed.

Unleash Incarnation

When you take the Attack action on your turn, you can momentarily overcharge your incarnated dragon essence, allowing it to strike alongside you.

  • You may make one additional weapon attack originating from your Reincarnant Echo / Aura Dragon’s space.
  • This additional attack can benefit from Bloodletting Strike, but doing so still counts toward the once-per-turn limit.
  • You can use Unleash Incarnation a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of once).
  • You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Severed Avatar

When your Reincarnant Echo is destroyed, you may choose one of the following effects (no action required):

  • Severing Burst.
Creatures of your choice within 5 feet of the echo take 2d6 force or necrotic damage (your choice each time).
  • Soul Reposition.
You immediately teleport to the echo’s space.

Additionally, when you use Second Wind, you may immediately summon a new Reincarnant Echo without using a bonus action.

Aura Dragon Avatar

Your echo can serve as an extension of your soul and senses.

As an action, you may project your consciousness into your Reincarnant Echo, transforming it into an Aura Dragon Avatar for up to 30 minutes. While doing so:

  • You are blinded and deafened to your own surroundings
  • You can see and hear through the echo instead
  • The echo can be up to 1,000 feet away from you
  • If the echo is destroyed while you are perceiving through it, the effect ends immediately, and you may apply Echo Severance as normal

You may end this effect early (no action required).

Dual Incarnation Flow — Shadow Intercession

  • When you use Action Surge, you may immediately move your echo up to 30 feet (no action required).
  • After this movement, your echo can make one additional weapon attack.

Flowing Presence

  • Your echo can now move up to 30 feet on your turn without requiring an action, but it must end its movement within 60 feet of you.
  • While your echo is within 5 feet of you or a creature making an opportunity attack against you, that opportunity attack is made with disadvantage.

Shadow Vidyadhara Intercession

Your aura dragon and echo act as living shields.

  • When a creature you can see within 60 feet is targeted by an attack, you may use your reaction to have your echo (or aura dragon, flavor-wise) teleport to an unoccupied space within 5 feet of the target.
  • The triggering attack is redirected to your echo instead.
  • This teleport does not provoke opportunity attacks.

Once you use Shadow Vidyadhara Intercession, you cannot do so again until you finish a short or long rest.

Wounded Immortality — Reclaim Potential

When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you may choose to instead drop to 1 hit point. When you do so:

  • Your Reincarnant Echo is immediately destroyed
  • Each enemy of your choice within 10 feet of you or the echo takes 3d8 necrotic or force damage (your choice)

Once you use this effect, you cannot do so again until you finish a long rest.

Additionally, while you are below half your hit point maximum, the damage die of your Draconic Bloodletting feature increases to 1d10.

Reclaim Potential

Whenever one of your draconic manifestations or echoes is destroyed as a result of taking damage, you may draw power from its collapse to gain temporary hit points equal to 2d10 + your Constitution modifier.

  • You can only gain these temporary hit points if you currently have none
  • You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier
  • You regain all uses when you finish a long rest

True Reincarnant Convergence — Legion of One

As a bonus action, you enter a Convergence State for 1 minute (once per long rest).

While in this state, you gain the following benefits:

  • Dual Echo Mastery.
You may maintain two echoes simultaneously. Both echoes follow all normal rules for your Reincarnant Echo unless otherwise stated.
  • Legion Assault.
Once per turn, when you take the Attack action, each echo may make one weapon attack using your attack modifiers.
  • Echo Reclamation.
When an echo is destroyed, you immediately gain temporary hit points equal to your Constitution modifier + your Fighter level.
  • Indomitable Spirit.
You have advantage on saving throws against being frightened, charmed, or stunned.
  • Legion of One (Ascended Aura).
When you activate this feature, your Manifest Vidyadhara Aura improves:
    • You may manifest two aura dragons instead of one.
    • When you roll initiative while in Convergence State, or as a bonus action on your turn, you may desummon your aura dragons, condensing them into vibrant cyan astral wings.
    • While the wings are active, you gain a flying speed of 120 feet. The wings last until the Convergence State ends or you dismiss them (no action required).

Aftereffect

When the Convergence State ends:

  • All echoes immediately vanish
  • You gain one level of exhaustion
