Base Class: Artificer
Sufjan, more commonly known as the Shadow-Cat, is an agent of chaos - one who is on intimate terms with entropy itself. Anyone who wishes to follow in his footsteps, and learn from the man himself, will gain access to incredibly potent skills with gem-craft - but they must be more comfortable with asking what they can do, and not be worried about what they should do. For those who do great things must often try, fail, and press onward nonetheless.
Tools of the Trade
3rd-level Entropist feature
You gain proficiency with jeweler's tools. If you already have this proficiency, you gain proficiency with one other type of artisan’s tools of your choice.
Weapon Crafting: When you craft a nonmagical or magic weapon, the amount of time required to craft is halved.
Entropic Gem-Craft
3rd-level Entropist feature
As an action when you finish a long rest, you may use your jeweler's tools - in connection with your attunement to the entropic forces of nature - to create a number of Entropy Gems equal to your proficiency bonus. You may never have more active gems than your proficiency bonus; however, you can use a spell slot of first level or higher to create a number of new gems up to your proficiency bonus.
Each Entropy Gem has an Armor Class of 10, and 1 hit point. An Entropy Gem is destroyed if it is reduced to 0 hit points or fewer. As a bonus action, you may charge and throw an Entropy Gem towards any point within 30 feet of you – if it collides with a surface, it takes 1 point of damage. As you charge gem the entropic energy surges within and your attunement to the forces of chaos grant you knowledge of the upcoming effect. As you charge the Entropy Gem, you must immediately roll on the Entropic Surge Table; for resolving the table’s effects “you” and "yourself" refers to either the Entropy Gem or the closest creature within 5 feet of it - at the GM’s discretion. All spell effects use your spell attack bonus and save DC where applicable.
Creating an Entropy Gem requires you to have jeweler's tools on your person, and any Entropy Gem you create with this feature lasts until the end of your next long rest.
You may charge one Entropic Gem per turn with this ability. You may only have one charged gem at a time, but the effects of previously crushed gems hold until their duration ends.
Entropist Spells
Starting at 3rd level, you always have certain spells prepared after you reach particular levels in this class, as shown in the Entropist Spells table. These spells count as artificer spells for you, but they don't count against the number of artificer spells you prepare.

Call to Chaos
5th-level Entropist feature
Through your experiments with gem-craft, you have unlocked further access into the power of entropy itself - granting your attacks greater potency. You may add your intelligence modifier to the damage rolls of your Artificer Cantrips.
Uncut Gems
5th-level Entropist feature
When you finish a short rest, you may use your jeweler's tools to create a number of Disharmony Gems equivalent to your proficiency bonus. As a reaction you can crush one of these gems in your hands when a single attack roll, ability check, or saving throw is made within 60 feet of your location - and you can apply either advantage or disadvantage to the roll, as the Entropic forces you have learned to harness swirl around you. When these gems are created, roll a d20. If the number is odd, these gems provide disadvantage. If the number is even, these gems provide advantage.
If the attack roll, ability check, or saving throw changes the outcome of the roll (whether from a success to a failure, or a failure to a success) immediately roll on the Entropic Surge Table - and resolve the roll with the individual making the roll as "self".
Entropic Affordance
You have begun to master your connection to the entropic forces of your artifice. When you active the effects of an Entropy Gem, you may roll twice upon the Entropic Surge table - and choose which outcome takes effect.
Purpose Through Chaos
15th-level Entropist feature
You have become a living embodiment of the Entropic forces that you tap into with your artifice. You gain resistance to Force Damage, as you become capable of absorbing the energies of entropy to aid in your craft.
Additionally, you may now hold multiple charged gems at the same time.
You also gain the ability to, as an action, crush all of your Entropy Gems simultaneously, at any distance, as long as you are on the same plane of existence. Their effects take place at the gem's locations, and affect the closest creature to the gems themselves.
