Bard
Base Class: Bard

Bards in the College of Magicianry use magician-like magical tricks and stunts to entertain others crowds aid in battle. They use their magic to dazzle and disorient foes, treating combat as one big performance. Every magicianry bard has an arcane deck, a magical set of cards they can draw to aid themselves or others, the ability to mislead and confuse others to gain the upper hand in battle, and still have the ability to put on an entertaining magical show when the time comes around. You can never predict a magicianry bard's next move, and they use this exact tactic to excite audiences and defeat foes.

Deck of the Arcana

You have a magical deck of cards that you can draw from to gain the upper hand in battle. As a bonus action, you can choose to draw from this magical deck of cards. When you do so, roll 1d4 to determine the suit of the card pulled. Depending on the suit, the card will have different effects.

On a 1, the suit is a spade. The next time you hit a creature with an attack roll, whether by a weapon or a spell, they take extra damage of the same type as the spell or weapon equal to 2 rolls of your bardic inspiration die.

On a 2, the suit is a club. You gain an amount of damage absorption equal to 2 rolls of your bardic inspiration die. At a reaction to taking damage, you can expend any amount of this damage absorption, and the damage is reduced by that amount. Any extra damage still goes through. This damage absorption disappears if all of it is expended, if you draw another spade, or when you finish a long rest.

On a 3, the suit is a diamond. The next time you are forced to make a saving throw, you can add a roll of your bardic inspiration die to the result. You can do so after seeing the roll, but before any of it's effects occur.

On a 4, the suit is a heart. You regain hit points equal to 2 rolls of your bardic inspiration die.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your charisma modifier, and you regain all expended used after a long rest.

Magician's Mirage

You always have the mirror image spell prepared. When you cast it, you can choose to do so without a spell slot. When you do so, you can use a bonus action on each of your turns to restore one of the clones the spell creates if any are missing, assuming the spell hasn't ended. Once you cast this spells in this way, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest.

Hat Trick

As a magic action, you can expend a use of your bardic inspiration to lay down a magical, indestructible hat at your current position. Then, as a bonus action, you and any creatures of your choice within 5 feet of you can teleport all the way back to where the magic hat is. Once you use this feature, you can't use this feature until you finish a long rest.

Deck of Inspiration

Whenever a creature you have given a bardic inspiration to uses it on an ability check, attack roll, or saving throw, they can also choose to pull a card from your magic deck, roll on the table, and gain the random benefit. Whenever a creature does this, it doesn't expend a use of your magic deck feature.

Rigged Deck

Whenever you or another creature pulls a card from your magic deck, they can choose to choose the suit of the card they pull instead of rolling. In addition, you can add your charisma modifier to the effect of the diamond suit, and twice your charisma modifier to the effects of the spade, club, and heart suits.
