Monk
Base Class: Monk

The Warrior of the Mind is a monastic tradition for those who believe the ultimate weapon is not the fist or the blade, but the boundless power of the psyche. While other monks channel their Focus to enhance their physical forms, these monks treat their consciousness as a sharp, unbreakable edge. They bridge the gap between martial arts and psionics, turning their meditation into a means of forging mental links with allies and erecting impenetrable fortresses within their own skulls. To a Warrior of the Mind, the battlefield is a web of thoughts and intentions.

Level 3: Psychic Force

3rd-level Warrior of the Mind feature

You learn the Mage Hand cantrip if you don’t already know it. The hand is invisible when you cast it, and you can cast it as a Bonus Action. When you deal damage with an Unarmed Strike, you can choose to deal Psychic damage instead of the normal damage. Once per turn, when you hit a creature with an attack, you can force it to make a Strength saving throw. On a failed save, you can push the creature up to 10 feet away from you or pull it up to 10 feet toward you.

Level 6: Psychic Senses

6th-level Warrior of the Mind feature

When you finish a long rest, an Invisible, invulnerable sensor appears above your head and hovers in place. You mentally receive information from the sensor, which shares your senses and can see in every direction. As a bonus action, you can move the sensor up to 60 feet in any direction. The sensor can never move more than 60 feet away from you. A solid barrier blocks the sensor's movement, but the sensor can pass through an opening as small as 1 inch in diameter. The sensor lasts until the start of your next long rest, until you have the Incapacitated condition, or until you die.

Level 11: Psychic Barrier

11th-level Warrior of the Mind feature

You have Resistance to Psychic damage, and whenever a creature deals Psychic damage to you, that creature takes the same amount of damage that you take. You are immune to magic that allows other creatures to read your thoughts, determine whether you are lying, know your alignment, or know your creature type. Creatures can't telepathically communicate with you or read your thoughts by telepathy or other means, unless you allow it.

Level 17: Psychic Warfare

17th-level Warrior of the Mind feature

Once on each of your turns, when you take the Attack action, you can forgo one of those attacks and unleash the power of your mind to blast the minds of hostile creatures within 15 feet of you. Creatures that have an Intelligence score of 2 or lower are unaffected. Each target must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes psychic damage equal to two rolls of your martial arts die. On a successful save, a target takes damage equal to one roll of your martial arts die. If a target is killed by this damage, its head explodes, assuming it has one.
