Coven Circle Druids, otherwise known as Coven Witches, Circle Witches, or simply Witches, value patience and experience. They focus on casting long ritual spells, viewing the spellcasting process as valuable in itself. They often gain deep experience with the spells they cast, learning to modify them to suit their needs.

Convenient Focus

3rd-level Coven Circle feature 

Working as a independent spellcaster, you learned that's anything can be used to focus your spells. Choose a type of common household item such as brooms, a cooking pots, or candles. You may use items of the chosen type as spellcasting focii. You may also use an arcane focus to cast Druid spells.

Ritual Knowledge

3rd-level Coven Circle feature

Coven witches often research new rituals and share their findings with other witches, learning many different ritual spells. You know all ritual spells up to your maximum level spell available.

Level 3: Experienced Ritualist

3rd-level Coven Circle feature

After much practice, you become very experienced at casting certain spells.

Choose a level 2 spell with the ritual tag or a Druid spell with casting time greater than 1 round. You always have that spell prepared.

Whenever you gain access to a new level of spell slots in this class, choose an additional spell of that level with the ritual tag or a Druid spell with casting time greater than 1 round. You always have that spell prepared.

When you gain a level you may change one of these spells.

Versatile Spellcasting

6th-level Coven Circle feature

Your experience casting certain spells teaches you how to adjust them like a recipe.

Choose one of the following metamagic options. You have 1 Sorcery Point that you can expend to apply that metamagic option to spells cast as rituals or spells with a casting time or duration greater than 1 round. You gain additional points at level 10 and 14. You regain all expended Sorcery Points when you finish a Long Rest. Whenever you gain a Druid level, you can replace your Metamagic option with another.

Distant Spell

Cost: 1 Sorcery Point

When you cast a spell that has a range of at least 5 feet, you can spend 1 Sorcery Point to double the spell’s range. Or when you cast a spell that has a range of Touch, you can spend 1 Sorcery Point to make the spell’s range 30 feet.

Extended Spell

Cost: 1 Sorcery Point

When you cast a spell that has a duration of 1 minute or longer, you can spend 1 Sorcery Point to double its duration to a maximum duration of 24 hours.

If the affected spell requires Concentration, you have Advantage on any saving throw you make to maintain that Concentration.

Heightened Spell

Cost: 2 Sorcery Points

When you cast a spell that forces a creature to make a saving throw, you can spend 2 Sorcery Points to give one target of the spell Disadvantage on saves against the spell.

Transmuted Spell

Cost: 1 Sorcery Point

When you cast a spell that deals a type of damage from the following list, you can spend 1 Sorcery Point to change that damage type to one of the other listed types: Acid, Cold, Fire, Lightning, Poison, Thunder.

Patient Ritualist

10th-level Coven Circle feature

Your experience with rituals has taught you the patience to cast other spells as rituals.

Once per long rest, you may cast a spell with a casting time or duration greater than 1 round as a ritual. If you do, you cannot also benefit from features that would reduce the casting time to 1 action or less.

Resourceful Spellcasting

14th-level Coven Circle feature

You become more adept at adjusting spells to use your available resources. You know the intention matters more than the material components.

Once per long rest, you may reduce the material component cost of a spell by half.
