Druid
Base Class: Druid

You view nature not as a single entity, but as a collective. You sacrifice your individual form to become a legion of tiny, biting, stinging lives.

Level 3: Circle Spells

Your link to the hive mind grants you access to certain spells. At 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th level you gain access to the spells listed below. They are always prepared.

  • Level 3: Web, Ray of Sickness

  • Level 5: Web, Spider Climb

  • Level 7: Stinking Cloud, Vampiric Touch

  • Level 9: Giant Insect, Blight

  • Level 11: Insect Plague, Contagion

Level 3: Form of the Swarm

You can use your Wild Shape to disperse your physical form into thousands of tiny insects. As a Bonus Action, you can expend a use of Wild Shape to enter your Swarm Form for 10 minutes.

While in this form, you retain your game statistics, but you gain the following benefits:

  • Amorphous: You can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing.

  • Swarm Resistance: You have Resistance to Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Slashing damage.

  • Invasion: You can move through other creatures' spaces and stop there. You can occupy the same space as another creature.

  • Biting Cloud: When you hit a creature with a melee attack (including Shillelagh) or a melee spell attack, if you are occupying the target's space, the attack deals an extra 1d8 Poison damage.

Level 6: Skittering Dispersion

Your collective consciousness allows you to react instantly to danger by scattering.

  • Reaction: When you take damage while in your Swarm Form, you can use your Reaction to halve that damage. Immediately after taking the damage, you can move up to 15 feet to an unoccupied space. This movement does not provoke Opportunity Attacks.

Level 10: Parasitic Infestation

You can distract and consume enemies from the inside.

  • While you are occupying a creature's space in your Swarm Form, that creature has Disadvantage on Concentration saving throws and Disadvantage on attack rolls against you.

  • Additionally, the first time you enter a hostile creature's space on a turn, they take Necrotic damage equal to your Proficiency Bonus.

Level 14: The Eternal Colony

You are more bug than humanoid now.

  • Flight: You gain a Flying speed equal to your Walking speed (hover).

  • Reassembly: If you drop to 0 Hit Points while in Swarm Form, you do not fall Unconscious. Instead, the swarm disperses and immediately reforms in a safe space within 30 feet. You return to your normal form with Hit Points equal to 5 × your Druid level. Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish a Long Rest.
