Base Class: Wizard

Master of the Weave

Starting at 14th level, you have learned to compress the weave tightly around you, allowing you to cast the shield spell three times. You regain one expended use of this after a short rest, or all expended uses after a long rest.

Raw Power

When you take this arcane tradition at level 2, whenever you cast a spell that uses an attack roll, you can deal force damage rather than the type specified by the spell. Additionally, the amount of gold required to copy a spell into your spellbook is halved.

Magic Overbalance

Starting at 6th level, your affinity with raw magic causes the weave to be especially concentrated and chaotic around you, granting the following benefits:

  • All spells not cast by you, within 15 ft. of you, have a 33% chance of failing, expending the caster's spell slot without effect.
  • In dead magic zones, you are still able to cast 2nd level spells and lower.
  • Whenever you cast any spell that deals damage, you can change it's damage type to Force.

Spell Burst

Starting at 10th level, you are able to harness the excess energy gathered around you into deadly spells. Once per short rest, you may cast a spell with a casting time of 1 action as a bonus action.
