Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

A patron without a true name, known only by fragments whispered across ages—Chronarch, The Shifting One, The Nameless Hour. Their dominion stretches over the hidden currents of time and the silent folds of space, weaving destinies and erasing them as easily as turning a page already forgotten.

Otherworldly Patron: The Nameless

Expanded Spell List

The Nameless lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell.

Spell Level Spells
1st Shield, Absorb Elements
2nd Misty Step, Mirror Image
3rd Blink, Counterspell
4th Banishment, Dimension Door
5th Hold Monster, Wall of Force
6th Traveler’s Spacetime Anomaly (unique to this patron)

Level 3 Feature: Temporal Slip

Temporal Slip. The Nameless grants you mastery over fleeting moments. When you or a creature you can see within 30 feet takes damage, you can use your reaction to teleport the target up to 10 feet to an unoccupied space it can see, reducing the triggering damage by 1d8 (this increases to 2d8 at 6th level, 3d8 at 10th level, and 4d8 at 14th level).

In the blink of an eye, the target is whisked through a fold in time, evading the worst of the harm as if fate itself intervenes on their behalf.

Usage: Unlimited, reaction

Level 3 Feature: Reality Skew

Reality Skew. Once per short rest, when you make an attack roll, saving throw, or ability check, you can roll the die twice and choose which result to use. You can decide to use this ability after seeing the first roll but before knowing the result of the second roll.

The Timeless One subtly twists the threads of chance, letting you seize the more favorable outcome from the flow of time itself.

Usage: 1 per short rest

Level 6 Feature: Temporal Echo

Temporal Echo. When you hit a creature with an attack or force it to make a saving throw against one of your Warlock spells, you can create a temporal echo. At the start of your next turn, the target takes psychic damage equal to your Charisma modifier + half your Warlock level (rounded down)

Every strike leaves a ripple across time. Even as your foe recoils, the memory of your action echoes forward, haunting them with the weight of what was and what is yet to come.

Usage: A number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regained after a long rest

Level 10 Feature: Fold Space

Fold Space. As a bonus action, you can manipulate the battlefield itself. Choose yourself or a creature you can see within 30 feet; that creature instantly teleports to an unoccupied space you can see. This movement ignores obstacles and distance as if the world itself bends to your will.

Additionally, your connection to the Timeless One preserves your body against the ravages of time. You are immune to magical aging, and your physical form no longer visibly shows the passage of years, making you appear as you did when you first pledged yourself to your patron.

Usage: A number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regained after a long rest

Level 14 Feature: Paradox Unbound

Paradox Unbound. As an action, you may step outside of time itself, vanishing from reality until the start of your next turn. While vanished, you cannot be targeted, affected, or perceive anything, as if the flow of time has no hold over you.

At the start of your next turn, you reappear in a space within 30 feet of where you vanished. When you do, you may choose up to two creatures of your choice within 20 feet. Each must succeed on a Charisma saving throw against your Warlock spell save DC or be stunned until the end of your next turn, trapped briefly in the temporal turbulence you leave behind.

For an instant, you become a paradox in the flow of time, untouchable and unstoppable, while those around you are left reeling in the echoes of your dominion.

Usage: Once per long rest

Level 14 Feature: Temporal Banishment

Temporal Banishment. As an action, you can force one creature you can see within 30 feet to step out of the normal flow of time. The creature is banished into a temporal pocket, effectively removed from reality until the end of its natural lifespan or until you choose to return it early (no more than 1 minute per Warlock level or a minimum of 10 seconds with a 16 or higher Charisma Save).

While banished, the creature:

  • Cannot take actions or reactions

  • Cannot be affected or targeted by anything in normal reality

When the creature returns:

  • It reappears in the same space it left, unless that space is occupied (then the closest unoccupied space).

  • It takes psychic damage equal to 10d10 + your Warlock level (On saving throw half damage).

  • Its body is restored to the same physical age it had when banished, but it retains all memories from before banishment.

Usage: Once per long rest.

Optional Scaling (for D&D Beyond homebrew):

  • Psychic damage could scale with proficiency bonus for higher-level play: 10d10 + Charisma modifier × Proficiency Bonus.
