Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

The unique art of Theurgy is the study of using arcane means to mimic or replicate divine magic. Among some parts of society, especially clerical temples, Theurgists are met with scorn. Using arcane magic to draw out the divine is seen by some as an affront to the sacred practices and devotion normally required for such power. The reality is that many Theurgists are the opposite of blasphemous, and instead study the divine and these special methods in reverence to the gods and the power they grant their subjects.

Divine Spellbook

During your studies, you have begun to imbue the writings of your Spellbook with divinely blessed ink. When you reach a Wizard level specified in the Divine Spellbook table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared. Additionally, the gold and time you must spend to copy a Cleric or Paladin spell into your Spellbook is halved.

9 Greater Restoration, Mass Cure Wounds

Studied Divinity

Starting at 3rd level, you have made great strides and breakthroughs in your studies towards replicating the magic of the divine. Whenever you restore hit points to yourself and/or another creature, you may add your Wizard level to the amount restored. You may use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency bonus per long rest.

Divine Glyph

At 6th level, you have studied methods for creating divine magic using specialized runes and arcane symbols. You are now able to draw a glyph that replicates powerful magics of the divine.

As an action, you may place your Divine Glyph at a point you can see within 30 feet of you. The Glyph creates a 10 foot radius Emanation centered on it. Whenever you or another creature enters the Glyph's area for the first time in a turn or begin their turn there, you may have the creature restore 1d8 hit points.

You may only have one Glyph active at a time, and a Glyph remains active for 1 minute, or you choose to dismiss it as a free action. You may place a Glyph a number of times equal to your Proficiency bonus per long rest.

Improved Divine Glyph

At 10th level, your studies have taught you ways to modify the arcane symbols within your Divine Glyph to pull additional divine magic through. When you place your Divine Glyph, you may choose among one of four additional effects. Choose one of the following:

  • Glyph of Redemption - When a creature restores hit points from your Divine Glyph, they restore an additional 1d8 hit points.
  • Glyph of Retribution - When a creature restores hit points from your Divine Glyph, they add 1d8 to their next attack roll.
  • Glyph of Piety - When a creature restores hit points from your Divine Glyph, they add 1d8 to their next saving throw roll.
  • Glyph of Wrath - When a creature restores hit points from your Divine Glyph, they add 1d8 radiant damage to their next damage roll.

Sacred Surge

At 14th level, replicating divine magic has become second-nature to you. You can now channel forth a massive surge of divine energy when the need is most dire.

Once per long rest you may cast the spell Mass Heal without consuming a spell slot and without any material components.
