Base Class: Bard
A Jubilee bard understands that victory is not only about defeating enemies — it is about reminding people what they are fighting for. Through triumphant choruses, rhythmic clapping, dancing flames, and emotional crescendos, they spark hope powerful enough to mend wounds and shatter fear.
In ancient traditions, Jubilees marked times of freedom: debts forgiven, chains broken, and communities restored. These bards carry that magic into battle.
Hope is their spell. Celebration is their shield.
Level 3: Song of Shared Triumph
Your performances shake off fear, despair, and control.
As a bonus action, you may expend one use of Bardic Inspiration to begin a liberating rhythm or chant that lasts until the start of your next turn.
Choose up to a number of creatures equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of one) within 30 feet who can hear you. Each chosen creature may immediately:
• End one charm or frighten effect affecting them
• Or gain advantage on their next saving throw before the end of their next turn
If a creature successfully ends an effect this way, it also gains temporary hit points equal to your Bard level.
You can use this feature even while affected by fear or charm yourself.
Level 3: Liberating Performance
When you inspire one ally, you inspire many. Whenever you grant Bardic Inspiration to a creature, choose another creature within 30 feet of the original target that can hear or see you. That second creature gains temporary hit points equal to your Bard level + your Charisma modifier.
Additionally, if the creature who received Bardic Inspiration succeeds on an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw using the die, the creature who gained the temporary hit points may immediately move up to 10 feet without provoking opportunity attacks.
Level 6: Rally of the Resilient
Your presence turns pain into renewed resolve. When a creature of your choice within 30 feet of you that can hear or see you takes damage, you may use your reaction to grant them immediate resilience and momentum.
That creature gains temporary hit points equal to your Bard level + your Charisma modifier, and may immediately do one of the following:
- Move up to half their speed without provoking opportunity attacks
- Make one weapon attack or cast a cantrip (casting stat normally)
- End one condition affecting them that was caused by being frightened, charmed, restrained, or grappled
You can use this reaction a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.
Level 14: Grand Jubilee
You ignite a battlefield-wide celebration of freedom and triumph. As an action, you begin a glorious performance that lasts for 1 minute (concentration). For the duration, allies of your choice within 60 feet who can hear or see you gain:
Unbreakable Spirit. Advantage on all saving throws and immunity to being frightened or charmed.
Triumphant Assault. Once on each of their turns, when they hit with an attack or spell, they deal extra radiant damage equal to your Bard level
Victory Surge. The first time each round an ally drops an enemy to 0 HP, all allies in range gain temporary hit points equal to your Charisma modifier + your proficiency bonus.
Once you use Grand Jubilee, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
