Base Class: Monk
Many hand-to-hand combatants rely on their punches and palms for their power. Warriors of the Foot and Fist, however, choose to hone their legs to an equal measure. Their kicking strikes are perfected to be precise, fast, and lethal to create a perfect storm of martial arts prowess. Defense often comes in the form of striking opponents within the gaps of their offense for deadly finishing moves, making the style difficult to master. However, with time and dedication, the Way of the Foot and Fist will make its practitioners a force to be reckoned with.
Level 3: Techniques of the Foot and Fist
You have practiced your unarmed kicking strikes to the point where you gain the following benefits.
Keep Out. The range of your unarmed strikes increases to 10 ft.
Flying Tornado. You can make an unarmed strike as part of a long jump or high jump.
Counterstrike. Creatures provoke opportunity attacks from you whenever they enter the reach of your unarmed strikes.
Level 3: Focused Power
Whenever you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, the hit is a critical hit.
Additionally, whenever you hit a creature with an unarmed strike and deal damage, you can spend 1 focus point to deal additional damage equal to one roll of your Martial Arts die. You can only use this feature once per turn, but it can also be used on opportunity attacks. The damage increases to two rolls of your Martial Arts die at Level 6, and to three rolls at level 11.
Level 6: Improved Foot and Fist
Your Techniques of the Foot and Fist gain the following benefits.
Keep Out. Whenever you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, you can force the creature to succeed on a Strength saving throw or be pushed up to 15 feet away from you.
Flying Tornado. You can make two unarmed strikes rather than one after a long jump or high jump.
Counterstrike. If a creature entering your reach has an ability that makes them not provoke opportunity attacks, you can spend 1 Focus Point to ignore that ability and make an opportunity attack anyway.
Level 11: Lethal Precision
Whenever you use Focused Power to deal increased damage on an unarmed strike, you can choose to spend two Focus Points instead of one to force the creature to make a constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the attack deals max damage without needing to roll.
Level 17: Deadly Finisher
Whenever you use your Lethal precision feature and the creature fails the saving throw, you can spend 5 additional Focus Points to make it a finishing strike. The creature falls unconscious for 1 minute.
Once you use this feature, you can't do so until you finish a long rest.
