Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

The Raven Queen is an unfathomable being who presides over death, fate, and memory. She watches the boundary between life and death with cold attention. Her chosen agents, known as the Left Hand, act as quiet arbiters of inevitability—striking down those who have lingered past their appointed hour and protecting those whose thread yet has purpose. Though often grim in their duties to She Who Waits at the End, these warlocks carry a profound appreciation for life. Accepting the fragility of existence kindles a fierce love for life’s fleeting brightness.

Level 3: Expanded Spell List

Level 3: Spare the Dying, False Life, Sanctuary, Augury, See Invisibility
Level 5: Feign Death, Revivify
Level 7: Death Ward, Locate Creature
Level 9: Awaken, Steel Wind Strike

Level 3: Hold the Thread

You can cast Gentle Repose once without expending a spell slot or material components. You regain  the ability to do so in this way when you finish a long rest. Gentle Repose is a prepared warlock spell for you, and you can cast it normally using your pact spell slots.

Whenever you cast Gentle Repose, you may choose to add one or both of the following effects to the spell:

  • You ensure that the target cannot be returned to life by the Revivify or Raise Dead spells, even after Gentle Repose ends.
  • You may ask one question of the deceased related  to something the creature knew in life. The DM must provide a clear and informative answer based on the creature’s memories and understanding, though the information cannot exceed what the creature actually knew or believed to be true. If the creature is later returned to life, it no longer retains any memories revealed in this way.

Level 6: Toll the Bell

When you hit a creature with an attack and the attack roll is not already a critical hit, you may immediately expend a Bonus Action to  convert the attack to a critical hit as though you rolled a 20 on the attack roll.

Once you use this feature, you can’t do so again until you finish a short or long rest.

Level 10: Knot the Thread

When a creature within 30 feet of you (including yourself) makes an  attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, after the roll is made but  before the result is determined, you can use your reaction to force it  to roll twice. This feature can be used only if the roll does not have  advantage or disadvantage.

If the creature is hostile to you it  must use the lower result, and if the creature is friendly to you it  must use the higher result.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all uses when you finish a long rest.

Level 14: The Bell Tolls Twice

If a creature dies as a result of your Toll the Bell critical hit, you gain 10 feet of movement until the end of your turn. In addition, the next time you hit a creature with an attack roll on this turn and the attack isn’t already a critical hit, it becomes a critical hit.
