Base Class: Bard
Most Bards would agree that there is no such thing as luck. The multiverse was spoken into existence, and its story has proceeded exactly as scripted since the beginning of time. But the College of Chance has a different take. They believe that destiny has yet to be written, and that the Gods delight in surprises just as much as mortals do. So they push their luck, empowering it with the wild magic of song and story to win or lose as much as possible with every roll of the dice.
Level 3: Child of Chance
You gain two Gaming Sets of your choice, and you have proficiency with them. You can use any Gaming Set as a Spellcasting Focus for your Bard spells.
You also gain the Lucky origin feat. If you already have the Lucky feat, then you may instead gain the Tavern Brawler origin feat. When a creature hits you with an attack roll, you can spend 1 Luck Point to roll your Bardic Inspiration die and add the number rolled to your AC against that attack, potentially causing the attack to miss. Your Bardic Inspiration isn't expended.
Level 3: Raise Stakes
Creatures with one of your Bardic Inspiration dice can choose to roll that die before rolling a d20 for a D20 Test. They add the number rolled to the d20 as normal, but on a success their Bardic Inspiration die is not expended.
Level 6: Shuffle Initiative
Whenever you or an ally in the same combat would start their turn, that creature may instead swap their Initiative with another willing ally in the same combat that has not yet acted this round. Creatures cannot swap their Initiatives if either of them has the Incapacitated condition.
Level 14: As Good As Luck
When you fail a D20 Test, you can spend 1 Luck Point to roll your Bardic Inspiration die and add the number rolled to the d20, potentially turning the failure into a success. Your Bardic Inspiration is not expended.
