Base Class: Druid

As a Wild Binder, you can use you Druidic magic to tame and control Beasts and certain Monstrosities.

Level 3: Primal Capture

You gain the ability to bind beasts and certain monstrosities.

Capture Rules

You may attempt to capture a creature if:
• It is Beast or Monstrosity
• CR is equal to or less than 1/2 your Druid level
• It is below half HP
• It is not legendary

As an action, you begin a binding attempt:

Target makes a Wisdom saving throw:
DC = 8 + proficiency + Wisdom mod

On a failure:
The creature becomes Bound.

On success:
You cannot attempt again until after a long rest.

You may maintain:
• 1 bound creature at level 2
• 2 at level 5
• 3 at level 11
• 4 at level 17

Bound Creature Scaling

A bound creature gains:
• HP = its normal HP + 2x your druid level
• Adds your proficiency bonus to:
• Attack rolls
• Saving throws
• Acts on your initiative
• Obeys commands (no action required)

If reduced to 0 HP:
It vanishes into spirit form and can be resummoned after a long rest.

Level 6: Spirit Recall

As a Bonus Action:

You may expend one Wild Shape charge to summon one of your bound companions or swap one bound creature for another.

You may also:
Channel energy to give a bound creature:
• Advantage on attacks (1 minute)
• Or Temp HP equal to 2 × druid level

Uses: Proficiency bonus per long rest.

Level 10: Primal Evolution

Once per long rest:

Choose a bound creature. For 1 minute:
• It increases one size category (deals 1d4 additional damage with attacks) 
• Gains +2 AC
• Gains an additional attack
• Damage dice increase by one step

Visuals:
Glowing antlers. Thorn-covered fur. Spirit flames.

Level 14: Apex Dominion

You can attempt to temporarily dominate:
• Any Beast
• Monstrosity CR less than your level

Additionally:
You may have one creature up to CR equal to your druid level bound permanently.

Wild Binder's Last Stand

Once per long rest, when you would be knocked unconscious, instead you take the form of one of your summoned companions for one minute, gaining a number of Temporary Hit Points equal to the Max HP of that creature, after which you fall unconscious unless you are healed within that time.
