Base Class: Bard
You've spent your life studying the mystifying ways of a creature so elusive, most people aren't even aware of its existence: The master of manipulation, the False Hydra.
Level 3: 3rd Level: Slip of the mind
You've mastered the art of speaking in a way that makes people forget things.
Upon reaching 3rd level, you always have the "Gift of Gab" spell prepared, and it does not count against the maximum number of bard spells you can have prepared.
You can cast this spell without expending a spell slot a number of times per long rest equal to your Charisma modifier. When you cast the spell in this way, the range is extended from 5 feet to 15 feet, and you can choose a different creature within this range to be the target of this spell instead.
When targeting a different creature, all creatures of your choice will forget what the target creature said, and will instead remember what you say while casting the spell.
6th Level: False Mindsong
Your studies of the embodiment of falsehood, the False Hydra, have granted you the ability to replicate its song to a small extent. As an action, you can force a number of creatures within 60 ft of you equal to you proficiency bonus to make a Charisma saving throw. Upon failure, they will fall under your Mindsong for up to 1 minute, requiring concentration in the same way as if you were concentrating on a spell.
You can then force the target creatures to forget a piece of information regarding a person, group, item, event, or place of your choice. You can only choose a thing which you know by name, have a close relation to, or have recently seen within the past hour, including things you can currently see (ex: you can make a guard forget that you've committed a crime, make an enemy soldier forget why they're fighting, make a shopkeeper forget where they got an item from or how much it costs, ect (idk why I'm doing this to myself by giving you the power to do this but have fun)).
If the creature is reminded of the information you made it forget, it can then repeat the saving throw again.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest. After the duration has ended, the affected creature remembers the piece of information that was withheld, but they will not remember how they forgot it in the first place.
If the creature succeeds on the save, it will hear you singing and act accordingly (keep in mind how horrific that song sounds). A creature which has succeeded becomes immune to the effects of your False-Mindsong for 1 hour.
Level 14: 14th Level: True Mindsong
After a long time practicing, you've mastered the False Hydra's song and can replicate it with ease. Once per long rest, you gain the ability to sing the true mindsong. This takes 1 minute to prepare as if you were casting a spell and when doing so, all creatures within range will hear you singing. After the minute has passed, for the next hour as if you were concentrating on a spell, you can alter the minds of every creature of your choice within 300 ft of you.
You can then choose to make every affected creature unable to perceive or remember the existence of you and up to 6 other targets whom you have personally met. These targets can also be objects which you have seen which are no larger than 20 ft in any dimension (ex: you can choose to make a precious gem or a small house imperceivable and unrememberable to any affected creatures). You and these targets are considered invisible to any affected creature, and this invisibility cannot be revealed by detection spells, magic item, or truesight.
At any time while the spell is active, you can also force any affected creature to forget the results of the actions of you or a target (ex: you can kill someone and if an affected creature sees that person die, they will forget that a person died as long as they cannot see the body).
Any creature that could still see you or a target while the Mindsong was being prepared will still be able to see you or the target until their line of sight with them is broken. If an affected creature makes physical contact with a target, they can make a Charisma saving throw against your Bard spell save DC. Upon success, they will be able to perceive and remember the target as if Mindsong were not active for as long as they can see the target. If they fail, they will immediately forget they ever made contact with anything.
Once the effects end, all creatures who were affected will regain their normal memories, and will be unsure as to how they forgot in the first place. Any creature that cannot hear you cannot be affected.
Level 14: 14th Level: Misrememberance
Upon reaching 14th level, you ways have the "Modify Memory" spell prepared, and it does not count towards the total number of spells you can have prepared. You can cast this without expending a spell slot 3 times per long rest.
