Path of the Phoenix

The Path of the Phoenix is a spiritual journey, as the barbarian accepts the flames of wrath of the Phoenix. In battle, the Phoenix spirit fills you with supernatural might, adding magical fuel to your barbarian rage.

Heart of the Phoenix

At level 3, if your hit points reach 0 while in a rage, you return to life with 1 HP. You can use this feature only once, per short or long rest. The heart of the undying phoenix gives you the fortitude to overcome death.

Wrath of the Phoenix

At level 6, if you reach 0 hit points while in a rage, whomever dealt the last blow to you receives double the damage you received in that round.

Spirit of the Pheonix

At level 10, if your hit points reach 0 while in a rage, you return to life with half your hit points. You can use this feature only once, per short or long rest.

Avatar of the Phoenix

At level 14, you gain immunity to fire damage. You also gain the ability to sprout a pair of wings of fire from your back, gaining a flying speed equal to your current speed. You can create these wings as a bonus action on your turn. They last until you dismiss them as a bonus action on your turn. These wings do not require concentration and can be cast and maintained while in a rage.

You can’t manifest your wings while wearing armor unless the armor is made to accommodate them, and clothing not made to accommodate your wings might be destroyed when you manifest them.
