Base Class: Sorcerer
A Sorcerer who gains their magic via either a blessing from the gods of combat or a run-in with a weapon from the Shadowfeld. Either way, they can channel their magic abilities in order to improve their melee combat. These Sorcerers are a great force in combat, utilising sheer magic talent to cleave through enemies.
Cleaving Magic
If you land an attack with a heavy weapon, you can then make an attack against another creature within 5ft of you. Effectively giving you the Cleave mastery property on any heavy or two-handed weapon. This ability is usable a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum once).
Innate Proficiencies.
This subclass grants you proficiency with light and medium armour, as well as two-handed and heavy weapons.
Extra Attack
At 6th level and beyond, you can make two attacks when you use the attack action on a turn.
Bladed Durability
At 6th level, as a bonus action you can spend 4 Sorcery Points to manifest a bladed aura of magic that can defend you from harm. The aura grants 3d4 Temporary Hit Points and deals your charisma modifier (minimum of 1) Slashing damage when a melee attack is made against you. You can expend more Sorcery Points to add 1d4 Temp HP and increase the damage dealt by 1 slashing damage per point expended.
Improvised War Magic
If you take the attack action and miss, you can use a bonus action to cast a cantrip, attempting to rectify the damage lost.
Greater Cleaving Magic
Upon making a slashing attack (Not just slashing damage, this includes things like Flame Blade and Blade of Disaster), you can expend up to 5 Sorcery points and empower them even further. If the attack roll on the D20 is a critical hit, you can expend 8 Sorcery Points to unleash a slashing area around yourself, anyone in a 10 ft sphere centred on yourself takes 5d10 slashing damage.
