Base Class: Barbarian
Barbarians who walk the Path of the Deathless Fury are not merely warriors—they are survivors of something that should have killed them. Each bears a memory of annihilation: a razed homeland, a slain clan, a battlefield where they alone stood back up. In that moment, something inside them refused the quiet of death. Their rage is not wild abandon but a vow carved into bone, an oath that their heart will not still while hatred yet burns. The more grievous their wounds, the louder that oath roars. Blood on their lips only sharpens their focus; pain becomes fuel, and despair becomes defiance. To face such a barbarian is to confront a being who fights not to win, but to outlast fate itself, an enemy who grows most terrifying when they stand on the brink of the grave and choose, through sheer will, to remain.
Level 3: Fury of the Unbroken
Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, your rage feeds on the wounds you suffer.
While you are raging, when you take damage from a creature you can see, you gain one Fury Die, which is a d6. You can have a number of Fury Dice at one time equal to your proficiency bonus. Any unspent Fury Dice are lost when your rage ends.
You can spend your Fury Dice in the following ways:
Bloodlust. As a bonus action while raging, you can expend any number of Fury Dice and regain hit points equal to the total rolled on those dice + your Constitution modifier (minimum of 1 hit point regained).
Savage Surge. When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack while raging, you can expend one Fury Die to deal extra damage equal to the number rolled on the die. If you do, you gain advantage on the next melee weapon attack you make against that creature before the end of your turn.
Level 6: Mocking Roar
At 6th level, your battle roar compels enemies to face you.
While raging, you can use a bonus action to unleash a terrifying roar. Each creature of your choice within 10 feet of you that can hear you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier) or be goaded by you until the start of your next turn.
A creature goaded in this way has disadvantage on attack rolls against targets other than you, and its speed is reduced by 10 feet while it is within 10 feet of you.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Level 10: Spite of the Deathbound
Beginning at 10th level, your wrath deepens as your life ebbs.
While raging, you gain the following benefits:
-
When you are below half your hit point maximum, you gain a +2 bonus to the damage rolls of your melee weapon attacks.
-
When you are below one-quarter of your hit point maximum, this bonus increases to +4.
-
When you are below one-quarter of your hit point maximum, your melee weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20.
In addition, when you score a critical hit with a melee weapon attack while raging, you gain one Fury Die (up to your maximum).
Level 14: Undying Rage
At 14th level, your will to fight eclipses death itself.
If you are raging and would be reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can choose to drop to 1 hit point instead.
When you do so, you enter a deathless state for 1 minute or until your rage ends (whichever comes first). During this time:
-
You cannot be reduced below 1 hit point.
-
You cannot regain hit points.
-
You continue to make death saving throws as normal if required.
When this effect ends, you gain one level of exhaustion.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.

Posted Feb 28, 2026Hi all.
This is my first ever attempt at a subclass. Any ideas, tips or tricks to make it more viable, easy to use via the interface is greatly appreciated.
Thanks /Carl
