Bard
Base Class: Bard

Some who fall under the mantle of Bard are not classically trained, so much as they are gifted. Those who find themselves naturally talented in the theatrical arts may put their skills to use in royal courts as a jester, on the stage as an actor, or may simply put on a show at home for their own amusement or to the delight of friends and family. They often find themselves defusing tense situations with a grin and a self-deprecating joke, as well as making a scene of themselves to draw attention away from friends who desire privacy. Regardless of where they find their lot in life, these pleasant folk often bring color to their environment.

Master of Performances

At 3rd level, your frequent demonstrations of entertaining physical acts has granted you proficiency in Acrobatics and Performance. It also has made you quite dexterous, giving you advantage on Dexterity Saving Throws.

At level 6 you gain advantage on Performance Checks.

At level 14 you gain advantage on Acrobatics Checks.

Pratfall

At 3rd level you learn to use your slapstick sense of humor in combat. Using a reaction on an attack hitting you, before damage is rolled, you can take half damage from the attack and go prone as you fake slipping on something and crash to your back.

Master of Performances - Performance Advantage

At 6th level you gain advantage on Performance Checks.

Bow and Scrape

At 6th level you gain proficiency in the Persuasion skill, and you double the proficiency bonus on Persuasion checks when acting subservient to someone in a position of power. In addition, in combat, you appear extremely non-threatening. Enemies who try to attack you must roll a Wisdom Saving Throw equal to your Spell Saving Throw DC. If they fail, they must choose another target within range to attack. If they pass they are immune to this effect for 24 hours.

Method Actor

At 14th level, your commitment to the role is so sublime, you trick even yourself into believing it is who you truly are. At the end of a Long Rest, you can choose a subclass of any other class of which you fully commit to becoming... for the day. Until the end of your next long rest, you gain a core feature of that class as listed below, as well as any modifiers that the chosen subclass may grant for that feature if your levels in Bard meet the equivalent level in the class required for the modifier.
