Base Class: Rogue
While many would think of Rogues as the masters of all subtle undertakings, Bushwhackers have learned that a cracked skull will often do just as fine as any convoluted scheme. Less refined but none the lesser deadly compared to their peers, these enforcers are employed in most cities to collect debts from unruly borrowers, bounce troublesome customers out of notorious inns, or take on any assignment that requires the best at delivering one fell swoop behind the back.
Level 3: Bonus Proficiencies
You gain Proficiency with Martial weapons and training with Medium armor and Shields.
You also gain proficiency with the Athletics and Intimidation skills. If you already had proficiency with either of those skills, you gain proficiency with other skills of your choice from the skill list available to Rogues at level 1.
Level 3: Browbeater
You prefer brute strength over furtiveness to handle your foes, granting you the following benefits.
Brutish Attack. Your Sneak Attack feature can now be used with any Simple or Martial Melee Weapon without requiring the Finesse property. All the other rules for Sneak Attack still apply to you.
Cunning Punch. You can make an Unarmed Strike as a Bonus Action.
When you gain the Cunning Strike feature, you can use your Strength instead of your Dexterity modifier whenever it requires a saving throw (your choice).
Level 9: Disloyal Strike
You gain the following Cunning Strike option.
Bully (Cost: 1d6). The target must succeed on a Strength saving throw, or it has Disadvantage on its attack rolls against you until the start of your next turn.
Level 13: Collegial Beatdown
You develop mob tactics with your allies to overwhelm your foes and deliver wicked blows. Your Sneak Attack against a creature deals an extra 1d6 damage for each Ally within 5 feet of the creature.
Level 17: King of Bruisers
You gain the following benefits.
Gutsy. You have Immunity to the Frightened condition.
Overpowering Attack. When you deal damage to a creature by performing your Sneak Attack, you ignore any damage Resistances that creature may have.
