Base Class: Monk
Monks of the Frozen Soul channel supernatural cold through their ki. Their strikes sap warmth from their enemies, freeze the battlefield beneath their feet, and encase foes in solid ice.
These monks shape frost into weapons, armor, and devastating bursts of cryokinetic power, turning the flow of battle into a frozen wasteland.
Frozen Strikes
Your martial arts channel supernatural frost.
When you hit a creature with an Unarmed Strike, you may cause the attack to deal Cold damage instead of its normal damage type.
Once per turn when you deal Cold damage with an Unarmed Strike, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw against your Ki save DC.
On a failed save, the creature’s speed is reduced by 10 feet until the start of your next turn.
Cryo Techniques
You can shape your ki into freezing attacks and constructs of ice. These abilities are called Cryo Techniques.
Unless otherwise stated, using a Cryo Technique requires Focus Points and uses your Ki save DC.
Level 6: Frozen Defense
You learn to shield yourself with ice and misdirect attackers.
Deep Freeze
Your cold strikes can completely immobilize enemies.
When you deal Cold damage with an Unarmed Strike, you may spend 3 Focus Points to attempt to freeze the creature solid.
The target must make a Constitution saving throw.
Failure:
-
Takes 2 rolls of your Martial Arts die in additional Cold damage

Becomes Restrained in ice until the end of your next turn.
Success:
-
Takes half damage
-
Is not restrained.
You can use this ability once per turn.
Absolute Zero
You unleash devastating cryokinetic energy.

Posted Mar 8, 2026I would greatly appreciate some feedback on this subclass. I'd like to make changes to make it better. Not exactly sure why but it looks a little weird in the app.
