Base Class: Monk
Monks of the Way of the Righteous see themselves as an extension of the higher powers. Amplifying their ki with zealous faith in the gods, monks of this path can imbue their strikes with divine energy, perform miracles, and turn themselves into vessels for celestial power.
Those who follow the Way of the Righteous are as varied as their gods. More spiritual worshipers see it as a path to true enlightenment, while the more militant followers see themselves as protectors of the innocent and deliverers of holy retribution. Regardless of reason, a monk of this tradition is a vessel for divine power, and is a bane against any their god deems an enemy.
Heavenly Choice
3rd-level Way of the Righteous feature
You've trained your body to become a vessel of the divine, regardless of who they are. You gain proficiency in your choice of History or Religion.
In addition, choose a damage type from necrotic, radiant, or thunder that best represents your deity. You gain resistance to that damage type, and features from this subclass that deal damage will do damage of that type.
History
You have proficiency in History.
Religion

Zealotry Strike
3rd-level Way of the Righteous feature
Your strikes are now infused with your deity's power. When you hit a creature with a monk weapon or unarmed strike, you can spend ki points to deal extra damage, the type determined by your Heavenly Choice. This extra damage is equal to one roll of your Martial Arts die, and an additional die for each ki point spent beyond the 1st, to a maximum equal to your proficiency bonus.
Divine Blessing
6th-level Way of the Righteous feature
You can invoke your connection to the gods to bolster yourself and your allies. As a bonus action you can touch a creature to replicate the effects of cure wounds, protection from evil and good, or lesser restoration on them, requiring no material components and using your Wisdom modifier as the spellcasting ability modifier.
Once you use this feature to replicate a spell, you cannot replicate it again until you finish a long rest, unless you spend 1 ki point to do it again.
Aura of Enlightenment
11th-level Way of the Righteous feature
You've learned how to enlighten those around you to fight harder. As an action, you can spend 3 ki points to create an aura of light in a 10 foot radius around yourself for one minute or until you fall unconscious. You and allies within the area gain a d4 to their damage rolls and saving throws, the damage's type the same as your Heavenly Choice.
Righteous Instrument
17th-level Way of the Righteous feature
You've become capable of serving as a true instrument of the gods. As a bonus action you can transcend and take on a visage inspired by your faith, gaining the following benefits for 10 minutes or until you fall unconscious:
- You gain a fly speed equal to your walk speed, and can hover.
- You gain half-cover from all directions.
- If you start your turn with less than half your hit points, you regain hit points equal to your monk level.
- You can change all of the damage from your attacks to be the same as your Heavenly Choice.
Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest, unless you spend 5 ki points to use it again.
