Flying Blades

3rd-level Way of the Flying Blade feature
You are an expert with a variety of thrown weapons, including throwing spikes, shuriken, and throwing knives, you gain the following benefits:
• You are proficient in the use of improvised thrown weapons and can throw any item without the thrown property as a monk weapon using a range of 10/30.
• You can draw a monk weapon that has the thrown property as part of the attack you make with the weapon.
• When you make a ranged attack using a monk weapon with the thrown property, you can increase the range by 10/30.
• When you hit with a ranged attack using a thrown weapon, you gain a +2 bonus to the damage roll. (An improvised thrown weapon does not gain the +2 damage bonus from this feature.)
• You can make a ranged or melee attack using a light monk weapon with the thrown property in place of any unarmed strike you could make as part of an action, bonus action, or reaction.

Ki Throw

3rd-level Way of the Flying Blade feature
You can spend a ki point when you draw or ready a monk weapon with the thrown property. For the next minute, all monk weapons you wield that possess the thrown property become magical while wielded by you, gain a +1 bonus on attack and damage rolls, double their normal range, and can magically return to your hand immediately after being used to make a ranged attack. If the weapon already has a bonus to attack and damage rolls, you use the higher of the bonuses.

In addition, for the duration of this effect, it does not cost a ki point to make a ranged attack as part of your Deflect Missiles feature.

Expert Thrower

6th-level Way of the Flying Blade feature
You have mastered all forms of thrown weapons and can make throws impossible to others. You gain the following benefits while attacking with monk weapons with the thrown property:
• Attacking at long range doesn't impose disadvantage on your thrown weapon attack rolls and attacking at short range scores a critical hit on a roll of 19-20.
• Your thrown weapon attacks ignore half cover and three-quarters cover.
• Before you make an attack with a thrown weapon that you are proficient with, you can choose to take a -5 penalty to the attack roll. If the attack hits, you add +10 to the attack's damage.

Improved Ki Throw

11th-level Way of the Flying Blade feature
When you use your Ki Throw feature, affected weapons gain a +2 bonus on attack and damage rolls, this increases to a +3 bonus at 17th level.

In addition, for the duration of your Ki Throw feature, you can spend 1 ki point to use your Deflect Missiles feature without using a reaction.

Master of the Flying Blade

17th-level Way of the Flying Blade feature
Your thrown weapon attacks made at short range gain advantage on the attack roll. In addition, once per turn, when you hit with a thrown weapon attack, and have advantage on the attack roll, if the lower of the d20 results would also be a hit, you can cause the hit to be a critical hit.
