College of Rock

The College of Rock is not for the faint of heart, to be accepted as one is to live life on the edge and as proudly as possible. Rather than the other Bards who hide back and buff, you are always centre stage, rocking loud for all to hear. Using the thunderous sounds of your playing to thrash your opponents.

Level 3: Weaponized Instruments

You don't use weapons like a usual Fighter or even a College of Valour Bard, no. Your instrument is your weapon. Literally. You gain proficiency with attack rolls using instruments and can use Dex or Str. The damage dice is equal to your Bardic Inspiration die.

Level 3: Thunderstruck

As an action, on your turn you can expend one use of Bardic Inspiration to unleash a frontwards blast of rip-roaring sound. You can deal thunder damage equal to 2 of your Bardic Inspiration dice in a 15 ft cone in front of you. At 6th level this turns into 3 dice, at 14th level this becomes 4 dice.

Level 6: Extra Attack

When you take the attack action, you can attack twice instead of once

Level 14: Level 14: Ride the Lightning

Whenever you attack with your instrument, you can expend a spell slot and overcharge your weapon with some kick-ass tunes, dealing 4d6 Thunder damage in a 5 ft radius.
