Base Class: Bard
The College of Divinity is home to bards who spend their lives creating religions in order to earn "tithes". They are often fully aware that their religions are not only not real, but leading others wildly astray.
Bonus Proficiencies
Starting at 3rd level, you have learned that the easiest way to get people to follow what you say is to pick pre-existing faiths and preach about what makes them wrong. Your followers will tend to worry more about what the other faiths are doing wrong than about whether or not your faith makes any sense. You gain proficiency in the Deception, Performance, and Religion skills.
Charlatan
Starting at 3rd level, you have learned to use religion to control the emotions of sentient creatures around you. You can make a Performance or Religion check contested by a creature's Insight to charm or goad them.
Faith Healer
Starting at 6th level, you learn how to mimic cleric spells in order to more effectively fool your followers. You gain access to the cleric spell list in addition to the bard spell list. These spells count as bard spells for you, and you can choose or change them any time you would be able to choose or change a normal bard spell.
However, any healing spells gained in this way grant temporary HP and do not heal normally. This temporary HP lasts for 10 minutes X your Charisma modifier or until the creature takes enough damage to dispel them.
Any restoration, regeneration, or resurrection spells you cast in this way take full effect, but only last until the creature's next long rest.
When you cast a spell of 5th level or higher that you gained from this feature, all creatures within 60 feet must make a Wisdom saving throw vs your spell save DC or be charmed for a number of rounds equal to your Charisma modifier.
Opportunistic Miracle
Starting at 14th level, you can make a performance check to make a nearby natural phenomenon seem like it happened by the power of a faith or god. When you do so, all creatures within 30 feet of you who can see and/or hear the phenomenon and you must make a passive Wisdom save (10+ their Wisdom modifier +their proficiency bonus) contested by the performance roll you made or be compelled to pay a tithe equal to your 1d4+ your Charisma modifier gold per person within range.
