Mana threads
At level 3 you can as a bonus action weave your mana threads, they are simple weapons you are proficient in, these threads take up one hand though you can wield them in both hands. This thread deals 2d4 force damage. When you make an attack with these threads you use your spell attack modifier for attacks and your charisma for damage. This weapon has the Vex mastery property.
Thread spinning
At level 3 you gain a new resource called “Weave stacks” whenever you hit with the mana threads you gain 2 weave stacks, 3 if you are wielding the threads with two hands. Depending on how many weave stacks you have you gain certain benefits. These stacks reset whenever you roll initiative.
- At 5 stacks the reach of your threads increases by 5 ft per 5 stacks.
- At 10 stacks the target hit by your mana threads has their movement speed reduced by 5 per 10 stacks you have.
- At 20 stacks your dice explode whenever they roll a 4 (when a damage die "explodes" it means it rolls an additional damage die, to automate it, you just do e4 after the damage die and when it reaches 30 stacks you do e>2, and 60 is e>1)
- At 30 stacks your dice explode whenever they roll a 3
- At 40 stacks you gain a bonus to your ac equals to your charisma modifier
- At 60 stacks your dice explode whenever they roll a 2
Imbued threads
At level 6 When you take the attack action with the mana threads, you can make two attacks instead of one.
In addition, you may imbue one of your attacks with the mana threads with a cantrip without the self range. Giving the attack the effect of the spell, the damage the spell deals is treated as bonus damage. If the cantrip requires a save you need to hit, but if you hit the target has dis at the save.
Consume Magic item
At level 14 The damage die of the Mana threads now become 3d4.
In addition, during a long rest you can have your mana threads consume the magic from a magic item, this magic item looses all its magic for the next 8 hours, and for the next 8 hours your mana threads deal an additional amount of d4 equals to the tier of magic item (1 common, 2 uncommon, 3 rare,4 very rare, 5 legendary & artifacts.). You can only have 1 magic item’s magic consumed at once.
Divine mana sight
At level 18
As a bonus action you can enter a state where you can see the pure beauty of the weave. For 1 minute you gain these benefits
- When you take the attack action with the mana threads, you can make three attacks instead of two.
- Once per turn, when you imbue your thread, you can imbue it with a leveled spell (up to 4th level)
- When a creature within your reach makes an attack against you, you can use a reaction to make an attack of opportunity against them. If your attack roll is 5 higher than the creatures, their attack misses.
- If you land three attacks back to back on a single target, the target gains a -1 to saves for the next minute, this debuff stacks upon itself to a maximum of your charisma Modifier.
You can only use this ability once per long rest.
