Base Class: Fighter
Lightning Dragon Slayers are born from those who faced the storm itself and refused to be struck down. Ancient storm dragons ruled the skies with thunderous might, their power manifesting in blinding speed and devastating force. The few mortals who survived encounters with these beings learned not just to endure the storm, but to embrace it—consuming its essence through dangerous rites that bound lightning to their very souls. From that moment on, their bodies became conduits of raw energy, their movements charged with unnatural speed, their presence marked by the crackle of electricity and the scent of ozone in the air.
Throughout Izarth, Lightning Dragon Slayers are seen as living embodiments of momentum and decisive force, often appearing at the turning point of a battle. They are rarely still, driven by an inner current that pushes them forward, always seeking the next strike, the next challenge. Some are hailed as heroes who end wars before they can truly begin, while others are feared for the destruction they leave in their wake when that power goes unchecked. It is said the greatest among them do not simply wield lightning—they become it, moving faster than the eye can follow, striking with precision that feels less like combat and more like fate itself being delivered in an instant.
