Base Class: Cleric
Outcast of the Gods, King of Malice, Father of Jackals—those who walk the path of Set are not chosen by divine love, but seized by divine will. The Chains of Dominion bind both enemy and servant alike, and the one who bears this mark is nothing more than a tool—empowered, but never free.

Bonus Proficiencies
1st-level Order Domain feature
You gain proficiency with heavy armor. You also gain proficiency in the Intimidation or Persuasion skill (your choice).
Set’s Embrace
1st-level Order Domain feature
You gain proficiency with martial weapons and heavy armor.
Additionally, when you cast a spell of 1st level or higher that forces a creature to make a saving throw, you can impose disadvantage on the save. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum once), and regain all expended uses on a long rest.
Channel Divinity: Chains of Set
2nd-level Order Domain feature
As an action, you can brand a creature you can see within 30 feet with the Mark of Set, a symbol of divine oppression.
The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be restrained until the end of your next turn.
Regardless of success or failure, the Mark of Set lingers for 1 minute. While branded:
- The creature has disadvantage on checks to resist being grappled or restrained
- When the creature takes damage from you, it suffers additional psychic damage equal to your cleric level
This brand is a visible, burning sigil that glows faintly in dark crimson light.
The creature can repeat the save at the end of its turns to end the effect early.
At 15 level, the creature makes the saves at disadvantage.
Shackles of the Oppressor
6th-level Order Domain feature
When a creature fails a saving throw against one of your cleric spells, divine chains of Set erupt from the ground. The creature must make a Strength saving throw or be pulled prone and restrained until the start of your next turn.
Once the target is freed (by any means), it suffers the Brand of Oppression for 1 minute:
- Suffers a –2 penalty to attack rolls against you
- Cannot benefit from the Help action or Bardic Inspiration
- Has disadvantage on checks to escape grapples or restraints
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum 1), regaining all uses after a long rest.
Potent Spellcasting
8th-level Order Domain feature
You add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric cantrip.
Sovereign of the Broken Chain
17th-level Order Domain feature
At the height of your devotion, Set no longer merely binds your enemies—He rules through you.
As an action, you invoke Set’s full dominion for 1 minute, manifesting burning chains of molten iron and divine fire that coil around your body and lash outward across the battlefield.
Aura of Dominion
- Hostile creatures of your choice within 30 feet have disadvantage on Strength and Wisdom saving throws.
• Creatures already affected by Set’s Mark or Brand of Oppression automatically fail the first saving throw they make while inside this aura.
Command the Shackled
As a bonus action on each of your turns, you may force one branded creature you can see within 30 feet to:
• Move up to half its speed (no opportunity attacks), or
• Make one weapon attack against a target of your choice, or
• Fall prone as chains wrench it to the ground.
This does not charm or frighten the creature.
Chains Made Manifest
Once per turn when you deal damage to a creature under Set’s Mark or Brand of Oppression, you may deal an additional 2d10 fire or psychic damage (your choice).
The Price of Defiance
While Sovereign of the Broken Chain is active, if a creature successfully breaks free from a restraint, paralysis, forced movement, or domination effect imposed by you:
• The creature immediately takes 4d10 psychic damage as the chains tear violently from its body and soul.
• The creature is frightened of you until the end of its next turn.
• The chains are broken: the creature cannot be affected by Set’s Mark, Brand of Oppression, or any class feature from this domain that applies a mark or brand until the next dawn.
Visually, the chains shatter or burn away, leaving scorched scars or phantom impressions where they once bound the creature.
You can use Sovereign of the Broken Chain once per long rest.
