Monk
Base Class: Monk

What kind of woman is your type?

The Warrior of the Boogie Woogie embodies the essence of fluidity and manipulation on the battlefield. Masters of a unique technique known as Boogie Woogie, these warriors can swiftly alter the course of combat by seamlessly swapping positions with allies and enemies alike.

Level 3: Boogie Woogie

You have learned to channel your focus into your innate technique: BOOGIE WOOGIE!

As a bonus action on your turn, you spend a focus point to clap your hands together and swap the location of any 2 living creatures that you can see within 60 feet (this includes yourself). You must be unarmed to use this ability. If you swap an ally this way, they gain advantage on the first attack they make until the end of their next turn.

As an action on your turn, you may apply a mark to an object you can touch. This object counts as a living creature for the sake of fulfilling the conditions of boogie woogie. You may throw this object as part of this action. Weapons marked in this way do extra damage equal to your martial arts die. Once you use this ability, you cannot use it again until you would regain focus points.

Level 6: Acclimation of the Soul

You can now use Boogie Woogie as a reaction to an attack or casting of a spell. Declare the swap you would like to make, and you and the attacker make competing Wisdom(Insight) checks. If you succeed, choose one of the following.

Swap the Defender: If you switch the positions of the creature getting attacked and another living creature, the attack or spell targets the other swapped target.

Swap the Attacker: If you switch the positions of the creature attacking and another living creature, choose another target in range of that attack or spell. They are the new target.

You cannot make the attacker attack themself.

If you fail the insight competition, the attack happens first, and then the swap.

Level 11: Improved Boogie Woogie

You can now use Boogie Woogie in place of one of your attacks as part of the flurry of blows action.

In addition, when you swap a friendly creature with Boogie Woogie, that creature can immediately use its reaction to make one melee weapon attack, adding force damage equal to 1 roll of your martial arts die to the attack's damage roll.

Level 17: Black Flash

When you land a melee attack on an enemy, you can expend 5 focus points. The attack becomes a critical hit, and you gain the following effects for 1 minute.

Boogie Woogie no longer costs a focus point to use.

Flurry of Blows now does one extra attack.

Gain 10 ft of movement speed.

Take 3 less damage from every source.

Unarmed strikes are all considered critical hits as long as they land.

Once you use this ability, you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest.
