Base Class: Fighter
Twin-Blade Attunement
3rd-Level Scissor Knight Feature
You have mastered the art of wielding two specialized Scissor Blades. You gain the following benefits: Scissor Blades: You can treat two shortswords or scimitars as Scissor Blades. While wielding them, you gain the Two-Weapon Fighting Fighting Style if you don’t already have it.
Snip & Shear: When you use your bonus action to make an off-hand attack, you can choose to "Lock" the blades instead of dealing standard damage. If the attack hits, the target’s speed is reduced by 10 feet until the start of your next turn as you pinch their armor or clothing.
Signature Move: The Great Clip
3rd-Level Scissor Knight Feature
You can combine your blades into a single weapon. As an action, you snap your blades together to perform a Great Clip.
Make a single melee weapon attack roll with advantage against a creature within 5 feet. On a hit, you deal the combined damage of both weapons, plus an additional amount of d6s equal to your Proficiency Bonus.
Decapitating Snap: If the target is a Large or smaller creature and you roll a 20 on the attack roll, the creature must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be Grappled by the blades as you hold them shut around their limb or neck.
Low-Profile Leverage
7th-Level Scissor Knight Feature
When you hit a creature with a Great Clip or a standard Scissor Blade attack, you can use a bonus action to attempt to knock the target prone. You can use your Dexterity instead of Strength for this check if the target is at least one size category larger than you. Additionally, you gain proficiency in Acrobatics. If you are already proficient, you gain expertise.
Sharpened Reflexes
10th-Level Scissor Knight Feature
While you are holding both Scissor Blades, you can use your reaction to add your Proficiency Bonus to your AC against one melee attack that would hit you. If the attack misses, you may immediately make one Snip & Shear attack against the attacker as part of the same reaction.
Severing Momentum
15th-Level Scissor Knight Feature
When you reduce a creature to 0 hit points with your Scissor Blades, you can immediately move up to half your speed without provoking opportunity attacks and make one Great Clip attack against a different creature.
Master of the Shear
18th-Level Scissor-Bound Duelist Feature
You gain the following improvements:
Improved Great Clip: You can now use the Great Clip as part of the Attack action (replacing one of your attacks) rather than as a full action.
