Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Most barbarians are defined by a rage that is a fury of bloodlust, but yours is a focused clarity. You have seen enough death to know that it solves nothing. You walk this path to protect the weak and to prove that strength does not require slaughter.

Vow of Preservation

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, when you enter your rage, and at the start of each of your turns while raging, you gain temporary hit points equal to 1d4 + your Constitution modifier. These temporary hit points last until the start of your next turn.

In addition, while you are raging, you can use a bonus action to choose one creature you can see within 30 feet of you. That creature gains temporary hit points equal to 1d4 + your Constitution modifier, which last until the start of your next turn.

The number of dice rolled increases when you reach certain levels in this class, increasing to 2d4 at 5th level, 3d4 at 10th level, 4d4 at 15th level, and 5d4 at 20th level.

If you reduce a hostile creature to 0 hit points while you have temporary hit points from this feature, your rage ends immediately. When you reduce a creature to 0 hit points with a melee attack, you can choose to knock the creature out instead of killing it, as described in the Knocking a Creature Out rules in the Player's Handbook.

Imposing Physique

Beginning at 6th level, you count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.

In addition, while you are raging, you can attempt to grapple creatures up to two sizes larger than you, and a creature grappled by you has disadvantage on attack rolls against targets other than you.

Voice of Reason

At 10th level, you can cast the calm emotions and command spells without expending a spell slot. You can cast each of these spells once in this way, and you regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. When you cast command with this feature, you cast it as a 2nd-level spell. Constitution is your spellcasting ability for these spells, and the saving throw DC equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier.

In addition, when you make a Charisma (Persuasion) or Charisma (Intimidation) check, you can add your Strength modifier to the check.

Bolstered Resolve

Starting at 14th level, when you use your bonus action to grant temporary hit points with your Vow of Preservation feature, you can choose up to two creatures you can see within 30 feet of you instead of one.

In addition, while you are raging, when you fail a saving throw, you can use your reaction to reroll it and must use the new roll. You can use this feature once per rage.
