Base Class: Druid
The Druids of this Circle harness the mists in various ways. Some utilize it as cover; they are elusive and protected under a vaporous cloak. Others take on its more ghostly qualities, making friends with the spirits themselves.
Their connection to the mists grants them special abilities.
Potent Spellcasting
Starting at 2nd level, when you pick this circle, you add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any druid cantrip.
Circle Spells
3rd-level Circle of the Mists feature
At 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th level you gain access to circle spells, as shown on the Circle of the Mists Spells table.
Once you gain access to one of these spells, you always have it prepared, and it doesn’t count against the number of spells you can prepare each day. If you gain access to a spell that doesn’t appear on the druid spell list, the spell is nonetheless a druid spell for you.
Circle of the Mists Spells
| Druid Level | Spells |
|---|---|
| 3rd | feather fall, shield, misty step, spiritual weapon |
| 5th | counterspell, spirit guardians |
| 7th | greater invisibility |
| 9th | wall of force |
Primal Strike
Starting at 6th level, your attacks in beast form count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.
Extra Attack
6th-level Circle feature
You can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn. Moreover, you can cast one of your cantrips in place of one of those attacks.
Otherworldly Wings
Starting at 10th level, you can use a bonus action to manifest a pair of wings from your back. While the wings are present, you have a flying speed of 30 feet. The wings last until you’re incapacitated, you die, or you dismiss them as a bonus action.
You choose the appearance of the wings.
Protective Spirit
Starting at 14th level, an otherworldly presence mends your wounds in battle. You regain hit points equal to 1d10 + your druid level if you end your turn in combat with fewer than half of your hit points remaining and you aren’t incapacitated.
