Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

You have an innate understanding of weapon masteries and can apply them to weapons outside of their normal property.

Level 3: Improvised Mastery

Whenever you hit a creature with an attack, you can roll a d4 and apply the corresponding mastery property.

1 - Push. If you hit a creature with a weapon, you can push the creature up to 10 feet straight away from yourself if it is Large or smaller.

2 - Sap. If you hit a creature with a weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.

3 - Slow. If you hit a creature with a weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.

4 - Vex. If you hit a creature with a weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.

Level 7: Enhanced Critical

Your attack rolls with weapons can score a Critical Hit on a roll of 19 or 20 on the d20. Additionally, whenever you score a critical hit, that attack gains the following benefit:

Topple. If you score a Critical Hit against a creature with a weapon, the creature has the Prone condition.

Level 10: Disarm

When you attack with a weapon, you can roll that attack twice. If both results would hit a creature, you can force it to drop an item it is carrying in addition to any other effects of the attack. Once a creature is successfully affected by this feature, you cannot use it until the start of your next turn.

Level 15: Disarm (Literal)

Once per turn when you score a Critical Hit against a creature, you can forgo any effects of the attack to instead sever or cripple one of its appendages and inflict one of the following effects:

Fling. If the appendage was being used to hold or carry something, the item is flung to a spot of your choice within 10 feet of the creature. If a creature occupies that spot, they can choose to catch the object if they have a hand available to do so.

Maim. If the appendage was being used for movement, that creature's applicable speed becomes 0 until it is healed.

Level 18: Executioner

Your attack rolls with weapons can now score a Critical Hit on a roll of 19–20 on the d20. Additionally, when you score a critical hit against a Large or smaller creature with 100 hit points or fewer, you can choose to instantly slay the creature. This typically manifests as decapitation, impalement, or another devastating strike appropriate to the weapon used. A creature with Legendary Resistances can utilize a use of that feature to nullify this effect.

Once you successfully slay a creature this way, you cannot do so again until you finish a long rest.
