Base Class: Paladin

Tenets of Devotion

  • Shroud Your Actions. Move with care and silence; let no one detect your presence.
  • Claim No Glory. Never let your deeds be known; let glory burden the shoulders of those who are worthy of it.
  • Pursue No Rewards. Your work has no price; though you may accept a reward, never seek one out.
  • Illuminate the Darkness. Those who have been taken by Darkness just need the guiding light of the moon to save them.

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity Options.

  • Intense Moonlight. As an action, you can cause Moonlight to apparat and intensify around a 15ft diameter by 40ft high cylinder within 30ft of you. Creatures in that space must succeed on a Dexterity Saving Throw or take 2d10 radiant damage. When you reach 10th, and lastly 17th levels, you can choose to permanently increase the damage by 1d10 (maximum of 3d10) or increase the diameter of this area by 15ft (Maximum of 60ft).

  • Night’s Silence. As part of a weapon attack, you can expend a use of your Channel Divinity. On hit, the target must succeed a Wisdom Saving Throw or become Silenced for 10 minutes. A creature can repeat its save at the end of each round to end this effect.

Moonlight Veil

At 7th level, you constantly emit a magical aura that shrouds your presence and improves your senses.

As long as you’re not incapacitated, you and any allies within 10 feet of you have advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks and gain Darkvision out to a range of 120 feet, unless a creature already has a longer range.

At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.

Summon the Moon

At 15th level, you can manifest Moonlight into a physical form to use as you will.

As an action, you can summon 3 motes of Moonlight which hover around your form for 1 minute or until you are rendered unconscious. While you have these motes, you gain 10ft of blindsight and gain 1 hit point at the end of each round for each orb you have remaining.

As a bonus action, you can expend any number of these motes to have them fly towards a target creature or location. Creatures within 5ft of where the orb impacts must succeed on a Dexterity Saving Throw or take 2d10 force damage. If you choose the mote to fly at a creature, instead make a spell attack roll, and the target instantly fails its saving throw on hit. If you are under the Full Moon, you gain double the amount of motes

Moon Knight

At 20th level, you’ve learned how to channel the darkness of night and the radiance of the moon. As a bonus action, you can transform into an avatar of midnight for 1 minute, or until you’re incapacitated. For the duration, you gain the following benefits:

  • You are invisible. If you deal or take damage, your invisibility stops until the end of your next turn.
  • The range of your Darkvision increases to 300 feet, and you can see through magical darkness.
  • You can apply your Divine Smite class feature to spells you cast, or to a mote of moonlight from your Summon the Moon class feature

You can use this feature once per long rest, unless you expend a 5th-level spell slot to use it again.
