This is a build that is solely focused on straight forward combat and the slow death of those around you.  The beast within revels in the blood, so be prepared for what happens when you can't control the beast within.

Rite of Blood

At the third level you gain a Rite. This is known as the Rite of Blood. Whenever you attack someone they take acid damage and have a chance to poison the target. If they succeed in the constitution saving throw, the next one must be done with minus 1 to there next role. This adds as they keep being hit by the attack. The level of poison they take is equal to your Blood Hunter Level. The poison only lasts one minute and is considered acid damage.

Hunter's Rally

Whenever the Blood Rite is activated, you can use a bonus action to absorb the blood from your strikes. This can only be done a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier. The HP regained is equal to half the damage you do.

Viceral

At the seventh level you plunge your hand into the heart of a creature with blood. If the creature is still alive afterward, you gain a free Rite of Blood to use. If they die adrenaline courses through your veins causing the inner beast to want more. You gain a free Rite of your choice that you can use until your next short rest. The damage you deal is a 2d6 die.

Hunters Mark

At eleventh level you can implant your blood into an enemy with the Blood Rite, afterwards, the rite will be dispelled. Doing so will allow you a free Amplified Blood Curse, but the blood will be expelled from there system. If you don't do it, however, you know the location of the creature for the next week. Note, this doesn't work on a different plane of existence.

Insight

At the fifteenth level you learn how to use your insight to a greater degree. Within thirty feet, you can see invisible, and shapechangers. Additionally, you can see into the ethereal and abysmal plane, though you have to make an added insight check, with a disadvantage.

Rite Mastery

At the Eightenth level you have mastered the many Rites of Blood. In doing so, a blade of your choice can use the Rite of Blood at will. They still take Rite damage. Additionally, your acid becomes stronger, making those who resist it takes the full damage and those immune to it be resistant to it.

If you, however, choose to make use of a different Rite, you can do so. But, the Rite of Blood will still be considered active for the duration o the other rite and all abilities affiliated with it, except the damage, still exist. If you poison someone with your rite, when you have both active, you can choose to poison them with the Rite that is currently on. That will dispel the Rite of Blood, and the one you choose. But, they will take that damage instead of the poison Damage but at half you level.
