Blood Hunter
Base Class: Blood Hunter

Vampires, some of the most ancient monsters known.  They draw their power from the blood of others, but not you.  Your order has learned how to weaponize vampirism by infecting its members with a mutated strain, courtesy of your order's founder, The Great Huntsman.

Level 3: Vampiric Allure

You have advantage on Charisma (Persuasion and Deception) checks.

When a melee attack is made against you, you can use your reaction to attempt to sway your opponent's attack.  Roll a Charisma saving throw, and if the result is equal to or greater than the roll they used for their attack against you, the attack misses and the target moves 10ft away from you.

Level 7: Blood Drinker

Once per turn, you can use one of your attack actions to bite into your opponent's flesh and drink their blood.  You can use Strength or Dexterity for the attack and damage rolls of this attack.

The damage for this attack is 2D6.  The dice you use for the damage rolls for this attack follows the progression of your Hemocraft dice.  You heal half of the damage dealt by this attack.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to half your proficiency bonus rounded down.  You regain all uses of this feature after a long rest.

Level 11: Vampiric Form

You gain the ability to transform into a more powerful vampire, but only temporarily.

As a bonus action, your body mutates and you gain the following benefits;

  • You gain wings and can hover.  Your flight speed is equal to half your movement speed.
  • You have advantage on Charisma (Intimidation) checks and can cast Cause Fear without expanding a spell slot.  You can cast Cause Fear this way a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier.
  • You gain a +1 to AC
  • You can cast Misty Step without consuming a spell slot.   You can cast Misty Step this way a number of times equal to half your Proficiency Bonus rounded down.

While in this form, you have a vulnerability to Radiant damage.  Falling below half your HP ends this form early.  You can end this form early as a bonus action.  If you already have resistance to Radiant damage from another source, the damage is treated as neutral.

You can use this transformation once per long rest.

Level 15: Improved Vampiric Allure

You can now cast Command at will without expanding a spell slot.  You can cast Command this was a number of times equal to half your proficiency bonus rounded-down.

Level 18: Improved Blood Drinker

When you activate a Crimson Rite, you can apply it to the Blood Drinker attack.
