Base Class: Ranger
The most dedicated Nephilim hunters are Shadow Hunters — a tradition as old as the order itself, devoted not just to tracking prey but to channeling angelic power through weapon and rune alike. Where other rangers rely on the natural world, a Shadow Hunter turns inward, drawing on their divine blood to burn brighter, strike harder, and endure longer than any born of purely mortal flesh.
Marked Arsenal
Your Hunter's Mark channels divine power. When you deal Hunter's Mark bonus damage, that damage becomes radiant instead of the weapon's normal type. Additionally, fiends and undead you mark have disadvantage on the first saving throw they make against your spells or features each round. Additionally, as a bonus action, inscribe a battle rune on yourself or a willing creature within touch. Choose one effect that lasts for 1 minute (concentration): Fury — weapon attacks deal +1d4 radiant damage; Fleet — speed increases by 15 ft and difficult terrain costs no extra movement; Iron — +2 bonus to AC. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum 1), and regain all uses on a long rest.
Shadow Hunter Reflexes
You add your Wisdom modifier to initiative rolls. On the first round of combat, you have advantage on attack rolls against any creature that hasn't taken a turn yet. Additionally, you can't be surprised while you are conscious.
Angelic Surge
Once per long rest, as a bonus action, you channel the full fury of your celestial heritage. For 1 minute: your weapon attacks deal an additional 2d6 radiant damage; you have advantage on saving throws; and any fiend or undead that hits you with a melee attack takes 1d8 radiant damage in return.
Heaven's Champion
Your celestial blood reaches its apex. You are immune to the frightened and charmed conditions. Once per day, when you reduce a fiend or undead to 0 hit points, you may use your reaction to release a burst of angelic light — each fiend and undead within 30 feet must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + proficiency bonus + Wisdom modifier) or be frightened of you for 1 minute.
