Monk
Base Class: Monk

This class uses short swords or one handed weapons alone with martial arts to move swiftly across the battlefield and deal death wherever they end up.

When you take this class, you may make any one handed weapon a monk weapon.  You become proficient in any one handed weapon of your choosing. You weapon is restricted to being light or finesse.  You cannot use versatile weapons.

Strike of the Flowing Blade

At 3rd level as an action, you may spend one ki point to dash up to the full movement of your unarmored movement  (in addition to your movement and unarmored movement) without provoking attack of opportunity and the ability to move through allies and enemies without difficulty.  These benefits are only for the movement of the dash, and you do not get the benefits on any other movement you make.  The dash must be made in a straight line and  you cannot end in the same space as another creature.  At the end of the dash you make take an attack on a creature within 5ft of your ending position.  If you moved through your target during your dash, you have Advantage on the strike.

To clarify, a monk that naturally moves 30 ft with 10 ft of unarmored movement moves 40 ft total.  This ability adds an additional 10 ft (due to being the equivalent of the unarmored movement) to your movement.  You only gain the stated abilities during the 10 ft dash, and not the other 40 ft of movement.

Focused Weapon Mastery

At 6th level, you may choose a one handed weapon to master.  In doing so, your weapon counts as magical for overcoming resistances and immunity for non-magical attacks. You also gain the following:

Lightning's Parry-

You may use your reaction to spend a ki point.  In doing so, you temporarily increase your AC by for a single creatures attacks by your proficiency. If the attacking creature does not hit, you then are able to strike back at your opponent once with your unarmed strike.

Wizened Strike-

You may spend a ki point as a bonus action to add your wisdom modifier to all of your monk weapon's attacks and damage for the turn.

Winds Ebb-

You may spend a ki point as a bonus action to disengage 10 ft from your target after using an unarmed strike.  You may not use this ability if you attacked with your weapon this turn.

Of Mind and Blade

At 11th level, you learn the following abilities:

Quickening Blade-

Your mastery over your blade allows you to spend up to three ki points during your attack to hit an extra opponent per Ki point spent to a maximum of 3.

Sharp as Steel-

You gain advantage on wisdom saves and gain proficiency in both wisdom and strength saves.

Improved Lightning's Parry-

You may now make the attack with either your weapon or your unarmed strike.

Unerring Strikes

At 17th level, your reactions are so quick that you can recover from missed strikes, turning failure into opportunity.  When your first weapon attack misses, you gain advantage on your second attack.  You may also use Strike of the Winding Winds a second time if the first successfully hit its target.
