Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

Paladins of the Oath of Sacrifice have sworn to sacrifice anything for the cause they serve, whether it's a faction, a god or simply an idea. They often live their lives and execute their mission in absolute, being willing to get rid of anything or anyone to honor their oaths.

These paladins share the following tenets:

Altruism. Put others before yourself, sacrificing yourself is the highest honor possible.

Honor your Oath. You must do your sacrifices in the name of what you've sworn your oath to.

All has its use. Everything you have is useful and must not be wasted.

Level 3: Oath of Sacrifice Spells

The magic of your oath ensures you always have certain spells ready; when you reach a Paladin level specified in the Oath of Sacrifice Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.

Oath of Devotion Spells
Paladin Level Spells
3 Bless, Guiding Bolt
5 Hold Person, Silence
9 Vampiric Touch, Speak with dead
13 Locate Creature, Guardian of Faith
17 Wall of Force, Cone of Cold

Level 3: Gage Vitality

You can take a bonus action to expend one use of your Channel Divinity to gain the ability to know information about the vitality of a creature. For the next 10 minutes, when you look at a creature, you know its hitpoints total, its current hitpoint amount and if they're affected by any kind of disease.

Sacrifice

As part of your Attack action, if you hit a creature that has equal or less hitpoints than (Paladin level + Proficiency + Charisma modifier), you can instantly kill them and sacrifice them instead of rolling for damage. When you sacrifice a creature, you are able to immediately cast one of your Oath of Sacrifice spells without expending a spell slot, using your sacrifice as component. Missing your attack roll does not count as a use of this feature.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.

Level 7: Aura of Sacrifice

When an ally is in your aura and they receive damage, they can delay the damage they've received until the start of the next turn of the creature that dealt damage to them. If that creature is killed before the start of their next turn, the affected allies will take no damage at all.

Level 15: Self Sacrifice

Using your allies and your own blood for sacrifices is enough to satisfy your abilities. When you use your Sacrifice feature, you can target yourself or allies. Instead of requiring to kill a creature, you can instead deal an amount of damage equal to half of your or your ally's remaining hitpoints.

Level 20: Holy Death Giver

As a Bonus Action, you can imbue your Aura of Oblation with the power of all sacrifices you've made, granting the benefits below for 10 minutes or until you end them (no action required). Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a Long Rest. You can also restore your use of it by expending a level 5 spell slot (no action required).

Brutal Sacrifice. The maximum amount of health needed to be able to sacrifice a target is doubled while they're in your aura.

Sacrifitial Genocide. When you use your Sacrifice feature, it targets all creatures in your aura.

Need power to gain power. When this is active, every time you sacrifice a creature, you gain one level of spell slots.
