Ranger
Base Class: Ranger

None can surpass your long term scouting, none will be able to match your skill with a rifle. You alone are able to keep up with a creature in it's domain and make sure that the first strike is yours. That being said, why do so within the range of the creature itself... your main skill comes from picking the opportune moment to land a crack shot on a vital organ, and bring it down.

He Who Fights With Monsters...

A monster's favored terrain gives it an advantage? No. You take that advantage for your own. Deep terrain and roots no longer reduce your movement speed, so long as you spot them before entering.

You still take damage from things such as thorns, but are not physically slowed.

At level 9: Take half damage from them instead.

Crackshot? You're looking at him.

Gain one of the following features, of which you are locked into. Choose carefully.

Getting the Jump: Gain a bonus to your initiative

or

Heartshot: Your critical range has been increased by 1 while using rifles. This effect can stack with other situations.

Getting the Jump on them.

Gain advantage on initiative rolls.

Heartshot

Your skill with a rifle is exemplary, and manage to land a crit just a bit more often.

Eyes in the Sky are Just what I need

Allows the summoning of a Giant Eagle spirit summon, used only for scouting.

Might've Overfilled That Shot...

Having played around with the balance of gunpowder that you're using in your shots, you've discovered a way to make your shots pierce in a line. When landing a hit, you may make another attack roll for creatures in the direct path of the shot. This stops after a failed attack.

Clever, Clever Girl...

When an enemy sneaks up on you, or enters your melee range, you may take a reaction to use a magically infused mage hand that's been imbued into your armor. It'll take a potshot at the approaching enemy, and if it lands the enemy cannot take the action this turn.

You may use this feature equal to your proficiency bonus per short rest.
