Bard
Base Class: Bard

Bards of the College of Silence have mastered the arts of pantomime and wordless magic.

Bonus Proficiencies

Starting at 3rd level, you are proficient with the Acrobatics, Athletics, and Performance skills.

Unseen, Unheard

Starting at 3rd level, you can mime using weapons, only for them to feel real to the target. You must make a performance check as an action to establish the reality of the weapon. When you make an attack with a mimed weapon, you deal psychic damage equal to your bardic inspiration die+ your Charisma modifier. Such attacks only deal damage if your target can see you, and you can mime using weapons that you are not proficient in, but they do the same damage as any other mimed weapon.

Additionally, starting at 3rd level, you can cast spells that have a verbal component without speaking, but must still use any material or somatic components required.

Silence is Golden

Starting at 6th level, you can expend a bardic inspiration die to make a performance check. When you do so, you cast Silence in a 30 foot area and all creatures in range must make a Wisdom saving throw vs your spell save dc or be charmed by you for a number of rounds equal to your Proficiency bonus.

Outside the Box

Starting at level 14, the Wall of Force spell is added to your spell list. Additionally, once per long rest, you can cast Wall of Ice without expending a spell slot with the following differences.

  • The wall is invisible
  • The damage done is psychic
  • The wall is not vulnerable to fire damage, but is vulnerable to psychic
  • It is dispelled not only if it is broken or you lose concentration, but also if you pass through it, which you can do at will.
  • You take no damage from being near it, and can move up and over it as if you have spider climb. Moving over the wall in this way does not count as passing through and does not dispel the wall.
