Base Class: Rogue
All rogues are well-suited to acting as spies and informants, but Agents pride themselves on being a cut above the rest. Frighteningly adept hand-to-hand combatants, an Agent remains a threat in nearly any environment; carrying no weapons gets one into heavily restricted areas, and their training makes them incredibly hard to catch, even by hordes of enemies. Slipping in and out with devastating unarmed blows while retaining the versatility all rogues share, any organization appreciates an Agent in their ranks.
Hand-to-Hand
3rd-level Agent feature
You are well trained at unarmed combat, granting you the following benefits while you are unarmed and you are wearing Light or no armor and are not wielding a Shield.
Cunning Fists. You can use Dexterity instead of Strength for the attack and damage rolls of your unarmed strikes, and you can use your Sneak Attack when you hit a creature with an unarmed strike.
Unarmed Technique. You can roll 1d6 in place of the normal damage for your unarmed strikes. If you hit a creature with an unarmed strike as part of the Attack action on your turn, your next unarmed strike against that creature has advantage.
Smooth Talker
3rd-level Agent feature
You've trained to talk your way out of situations that don't quite warrant a fight. You gain proficiency in the Persuasion and Deception skills, if you don't already have it. You then gain expertise in one of those skills of your choice.
Cunning Flurry
9th-level Agent feature
Immediately after taking one of the bonus actions granted to you by Cunning Action, you can make one unarmed strike.
Operative's Toolkit
9th-level Agent feature
You have a wealth of magical tools available to you at all times- but they are limited in use. You always have the Color Spray, Disguise Self, Invisibility, and Mislead spells prepared. You can cast each spell once without a spell slot or material components, and using Dexterity as the spellcasting ability. You regain the ability to cast each spell in this way when you finish a Long Rest.
Arcane Countermeasures
13th-level Agent feature
When you finish a long rest, you can create a number of AMP (Antimagic Pulse) Tags equal to your proficiency bonus. An AMP Tag lasts until you finish a long rest. You determine the appearance of your signature Tags, but they can be no larger than a coin. You can expend one or more AMP Tags to cast Dispel Magic, using Dexterity as the spellcasting ability. The spell's effective level increases by 1 for each additional Tag you expend.
Additionally, when you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, you can place one AMP Tag on it, or recover one unexpended AMP Tag placed on it (no action required). As a bonus action, you can trigger one AMP Tag you have placed on another creature. When you do so, the Tag is expended, and the creature the Tag was on is afflicted with a one-way barrier of antimagic for 1 minute or until it or another creature takes an action to pry the Tag off. While the barrier persists, the creature cannot teleport, its spell attack rolls have disadvantage, and creatures other than it have advantage on saving throws against spells the creature casts.
Greatly Exaggerated
17th-level Agent feature
You've honed a hard to perform, but incredibly powerful skill- faking your death. When you would drop to 0 hit points but are not killed outright, you can instead set your current hit points to half your hit point maximum and make a Charisma (Deception or Persuasion) check, contested by the Wisdom (Insight) check of the creature that caused you to drop to 0 hit points. If you succeed, you can also cast Mislead without a spell slot (no action required). When you cast the spell in this way, your illusory copy appears to be unconscious and prone, you cannot move or manipulate it in any way, and creatures with Blindsight cannot see you while you are invisible due to the spell's effects. Immediately after casting Mislead in this way, you can move up to your movement speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
Once you use this feature, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest.
